Great effort, I just wanted to check the last case and I found your video.
I already know these things, but I must admit, this is a really really well made video. Thank you very much.

Literally the best video on this topic I have ever found on internet. I am preparing for IIT JEE and was stuck on a previous year question of this topic from 1982 paper. This video made my concept crystal clear!!!
Keep up the good work sir!😊

Great detailed explanation. Just one thing... at the 54:28 frame, In case 4 the particle should have a trajectory along Y- axis and you have drawn it along Z axis.

Sir in 53:34 dont the particle will move in cycloid motion along y-axis in yz plane as U HAVE SHOWN In 53:14 WHEREAS U have shown the cylcoid motion along z axis in 53:34???Plzzz tell
Is there a MISTAKE... OR What....

Best video for the last case with all the mathematical equations. I knew that concept but I must say this was so elegant.
Although I wasn't able to get the process of getting solution of 2nd order differential equation, because I haven't studied it yet, just thought of it as SHM in Vy and proceeded.

Thanks for your valuable effort sir.. I really appreciate it.. It's really a gem..I have a small doubt.. As you explained in the last that that equation represents cycloid so how come it goes to zero like uf the eqn in y direction is a(T-Sin(T))=y.. So y will be zero once when T itself is zero.. I.e at the orgin.. What about the next one?.. Again thanks for such a great video.

Ofcourse, as i stated, particle is initially at the origin of reference frame. With time it will trace a cycloid away from the origin

Hello, You explanation was very helpful to me in understanding the motion of the particle in the magnetic field. Can you explain what could be the position vector of the particle with the velocity vector if the angle between initial velocity and the magnetic field is an acute angle(angle greater than zero but less than 90). I know the shape of the trajectory but could not represent in terms of an equation which defines the position vector of the particle.
Thanks again your explanation was very helpful.
