As someone who used to watch Thomas as a child, this didn’t ruin my childhood, it revived it. I felt really bad for Thomas even though I don’t like the show and franchise in general. I used to see this when I was 12 and this frightened me to my core. I’m almost 17 now and I love this masterpiece
Thomas always thought of us as his friends, but in truth, we only thought of him as...really useful. Paul, this was top notch. Documentary and horror are melded together beautifully in this. This was horrific and jarring and I will never look at anthropomorphic characters again. Incredibly well written and well done. Timothy the Ghost Engine? Give me a break. Biofused engines capitalizes on the horror genre and the many faces of Thomas. The High Speed Train bits and the boat towards the end was a bit of humor we needed by the end. No one has pushed the boundaries this far and I am amazed at the ingenuity of the fandom. I loved this.
I do like his scream in the end. That despair. That sadness. That pain. That realization of what he is. Its all in his scream. Thats why it is beautiful.
Shed 17 did something completely opposite. Instead of ruining my childhood, it kinda revived it. I hadn’t watched Thomas the train for a few years and was busy in high school. But than I re discovered this and project G-1 and it made me watch old Thomas the train and has reunited me with my child hood. Other than that this is a masterpiece. Good job Paul’sVids
Some of these scenes still give me this feeling of fear in my stomach. Theres just something so horrible about the thought of this happening, and these poor people being put through this painful existence. Amazingly made documentary.
I feel like this is a humorous stab at the folks who try to give a scientific reason for why the vehicles are sentient in the Railway Series, because they cant stop overthinking things like this.
Quite possibly one of the most influential Thomas fan films out there. Pretty much everyone in the fandom has heard of it. And even then some people outside of the fandom have heard of it as well.
What I really like about this is the references to past British current affairs TV programmes along with the VHS quality of the archieve TV footage. Adds a certain charm to it
Ngl, this is actually one of the most creative and inventive things I’ve seen. It introduces an interesting take on Thomas the Tank engine and turns a childhood favourite of mine into a disturbing horror show. To the guy who made this, you are severely fucked up but intelligent none the less.
Thank god I didnt see this when I was 9. I found it a couple years later. Even today I still feel somewhat on edge. I cant stop coming back to this. Its a brutally horrific masterpiece.
Me again, I just came to say that the idea of Thomas and all the other characters being a product of bio fusion is such an inspired concept, very well done and deliciously dark.
I found this accidentally and it just marvelous, thrilling, weird and truly something anyone who watched the og series should give a watch if they think there ready for harsh reality
Mr Paulsvids, Ive only seen this video a few triple weeks ago but this documentary has been a big inspiration for me, i know this video is a haha what if Thomas was scary but genuinely ive become so invested in the shed 17 series and all the details, I just wanna tell you your work is sheer genius and thank you for creating the shed 17 series
There’s nothing funnier than the People (mostly Kids) in the Comments criticizing this Video for ‘ruining their Childhoods’, acting like they weren’t the ones that went out of their Way to look for and watch this while being fully able to just click off at any given Moment.
Its sad this video is so hidden away on this site. RUclips has changed so much and im not sure if its for the better or worse. As a video the effort and depth of story in this is jaw dropping. I only found this because of a link sent to me. I always saw comments speaking of Shed 17 but never knew that it was related to this.
This video is an incredibly imaginative and thoughtfully-executed mockumentary; its evident that a great deal of work went into it. I used to wonder why comments are disabled on its sequel, but when I look at this comment section, I think I start to see why that is.
This documentary didnt exactly ruin my childhood, it just gave me an answer as to why the engines have faces in the first place but the long way.

If you remember seeing this as a kid, being scared to shit, and later growing to appreciate it, youre a veteran.
Did that opening just punch anyone else in the heart? Seeing places you know and love ruined, overgrown, and vandalized.
So terrifying yet so entertaining. Give this man a movie budget!
This is so brilliantly made. Kudos to the filmmaker.

All i would like to say is goodbye rainbow friends😢😢

Remember, if this gets removed by the creators of Thomas it means it’s officially canon.
I found this accidentally and it just marvelous, thrilling, weird and truly something anyone who watched the og series should give a watch if they think there ready for harsh reality
Its weird how the trains have blood and organs but the other figures only have sawdust
I remember first watching this at 8 in the morning while I had my classes up in the background. Good memories 😌
Leaving jokes on a side, this is actually a masterpiece.
Can we just all agree the narrators voice fits so well in this?
bro, this is the ultimate nostalgia this scared me the heck out when I was 5 💀💀💀
Thomas getting hit by the train jumpscare, scared the life outta me
pov: you saw a youtube short talking about people who knew about Shed 17 so you came here.

It was time for Thomas to leave. He had seen everything.
The Thomas in the glass container is creepy and all, but anyone gonna talk about the giant Thomas with his face removed and that skeleton?
I miss 10 seconds ago when I didn’t know this existed.
Accidentally watch this when I was like 9 or 10 and I was horrified
95% of todays hollywood horror movies have nothing on this
