Sir what to do when the minimum support is given in the form of decimal for example 2.4? Do we have to consider the floor or ceil for this type of question?
Minimum support count is the % of the all transaction. Suppose you have 60% support and 5 is the total transaction then in number the min_support will be 5*60/100=3
@@MaheshHuddar if the minimum support count is in decimal then what to take the ceiling valu or the floor value? Like in one qn support is 30% and the number of transactions is 9 so support count is 9*.30=2.7 so the support count will be 2 or 3
In this example he has 9 transactions and support = 2 If you want minimum support to be 50% then it will be 50% of 9 which is 4.5 or 5 So your support will be >= 5
I watched all the videos regarding associated rule mining, very clear and helpful. Thank you so much, Dr. Mahesh.

Consider 2 for 2.1-2.5 and 3 for 2.6-2.9

Where Are You From Sir
Why..?
Sir what to do when minimum support given in the form of percent like 30% so what we consider the minimum support.
Minimum support count is the % of the all transaction.
Suppose you have 60% support and 5 is the total transaction then in number the min_support will be 5*60/100=3
Support 30 mean it will 3?
@@MaheshHuddar if the minimum support count is in decimal then what to take the ceiling valu or the floor value?
Like in one qn support is 30% and the number of transactions is 9 so support count is 9*.30=2.7 so the support count will be 2 or 3

Sir add's are minimum 50 sec's please reduce it
How to solve the problem when Minimum support =50% ...plz tell me sir..
In this example he has 9 transactions and support = 2
If you want minimum support to be 50% then it will be 50% of 9 which is 4.5 or 5
So your support will be >= 5
