Excellent logical build explanation and thank you for helping me clearly understand the Apriori Algorithmank functionality. Thank you also for making this video. Much appreciated
Doubt here: While generating C3, don't we have to generate all possible candidates. And then while generating L3 we have to remove those having less support than the minimum support. Why you have directly removed sets having less support while generating C3?
I think you must ignore all infrequent 2-itemsets when determining C3. So all 3-item sets which contains {I1, I4}, {I3,I4}, {I3,I5}, {I4,I5}, must be ignored. It's the Apriori principle: If an itemset is frequent, then all of its subsets must also be frequent. (That is, if a subset of an itemset X is infrequent, the itemset X is infrequent)
Sorry sir, but C2 means 2-candidate itemset, and for frequent-2 itemset is denoted by L2. Anyway, thanks for the video. It helps me to get a better understanding.
I got this. Im From Turkey Adana city. English people say turkey because this bird came from turkey to eng. Turks call this bird like hindi because it came to turkey from hindistan(india in turkish) to turkey. (this info from me to yu)
I understood your apirori algorithm video it was very helpful, but I am left with one query that is if min support count is let say 3.3 or 3.4 not 3.5 after multiplying support threshold with total transactions what can i do Can i omit it and write 3?

Should we find association rule for both I1,I2,I3 and I1,I2,I5 or any one is enough??
All the frequent patterns have to be taken for generating Association rules. So here we have to take both.
Hello. If they gave min support as 22% then how can I convert into 1 digit

ask. Is it if we only want or are only able to make 3 iterations, does that violate the Apriori concept itself?
Sir what if at last l4 is not empty and contains one item in it .can we consider that item set instead of lk-1 items
Yes.. But the item set should satisfy min. support constraint.. otherwise Ik-1 to be considered.
Great explanation

Super explanation sir.if min support count is in point (eg 3.4).how to solve that
In question, minimum support is given as 20% so what to do?
check what is 20% of given no of trasactions.. Here we have 9 transactions.. so 20% of 9 is 1.8 approx... so u can take min sup count as 2..
Ty so much☺️

Hi, May I ask why association rule isn’t good in mining numerical value?
Can u explain the corresponding algorithm which is mentioned in the textbook step wise?
Defintely, i will do in my future video lectures.
Her you take min support as 2 right? y do u take as 2 only? it is not given right?
Minimum support always will be mentioned in the question. Otherwise the Question is incomplete.
Thanks for the explanation!

Minimum support value is 0.3 in problem, what should I do. Please help me
I think that is indirectly given as 30%. so min.support count= 0.3*total no.of transactions.

you took the wrong candidate sets for C3. except for {i1,i2,i3} and {i1,i2,i5}, all those extra sets are not eligible to be added to C3.
To make the viewers more understanding, i have taken those sets too. Anyway you can observe in the next step that those extra sets are removed.
