This is our first Walt Disney World vlog series!
Day 1 waking up at Disneys Wilderness Lodge resort and its Magic Kingdom day! We start the day off by grabbing some breakfast at the Roaring Fork restaurant which is the quick service located at Wilderness Lodge, we head back to the room to grab some things before heading to start the magic!
We take the ferry boat from the resort which passes by the Contemporary resort and under the monorail in to the Seven Seas Lagoon. We head to guest services at the entrance to the park to collect our annual passes (this is the first time being pass holders!) before scanning our magic bands and letting the magic begin, walking down Main Street is so special to see everyones faces as they turn the corner and see Cinderellas castle for the first time. We stop to take a few photos then on to our first ride for early guest entry, as we are staying at Wilderness Lodge it is classed as a deluxe resort which enables you to have 30 minutes early entry before park opening. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is our first ride, we then try a Cheshire Cat tail from the Cheshire Cafe located in Fantasy Land. Tomorrow Land is the next stop with a ride on the People Mover. Adventure Land is next with a ride on Pirates of the Caribbean. We then head on over to Frontierland where we see the progress for Tiana's Bayou Adventure coming along before riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
It was now time for the Festival of Fantasy parade so heading back down Main Street to grab a spot to watch (I may have cried). We checked out the merchandise they had on offer in the Emporium where Max bought a new Spirit Jersey and water bottle. Lunch time has arrived where we grab some quick service food from Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, Max has some loaded nachos and I had a chicken rice bowl.
We caught the Walt Disney World Railroad from Frontierland over to the Fantasy Land station as our boarding group for Tron was now ready! This was our first time riding Tron.
After Tron we headed back to the hub area in front of Cinderellas Castle and caught the Main Street Philharmonic playing, as we were getting ready to leave we stopped off at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor where we both had a Brownie Sundae and found a quiet spot off Main Street to enjoy it.
We walked back to the entrance through the shops including the Main Street Confectionery.
A severe weather wearing had been issued for the evening (as you will see in the video the rain was crazy!) so decided to head back to our resort and found a cozy spot in front of the fire where we relaxed for a while before heading back to the room to end the vlog!

Ah arriving at the magic kingdom the first time on holiday is always amazing ! Going by boat from wilderness looks incredible! Great to see your day , other than the fireworks the festival of fantasy is hands down my favourite thing at Disney World

It really is the happiest place on Earth as they say. Have not been in ages and growing up in Florida myself, went very early on, I think 1972 a year or so after it opened. It is completely different now compared to then. During winter in Florida cold fronts can come through with tremendous storms, tornados and rain. Once the fronts pass, the air tends to be drier and definitely cooler. Glad to see that you both are having a great time. In 2018, went to Tokyo Disney World with my husband and it was "interesting" mostly under a glass cover and next to a somewhat industrial area on Tokyo Bay. 🐕
Oh wow you saw it when it was new new then! That must be an amazing memory and to see how much it has changed… I really want to go on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Tokyo!
Numerous time I saw WDW when it was pretty new and not much development as there is now. We did do Pirates in Tokyo. While I don't consider myself a Disney expert, it was OK. If you find yourselves in Japan, definitely do Disney Tokyo. We were already gong to Japan and while in Tokyo that was one of the stops. @@Max_and_Alex

Glad you did well on Tron. My son (26) and I rode it for the first time in November. When we got off the ride they stopped us from leaving because someone had "lost their lunch" and they were trying to clean it up!

Watching your reaction arriving on Main Street made me smile! I react exactly the same way and I have been going to WDW for many many years. Awesome vlog 💯‼️🧡 I love gray, windy and rainy weather but not super stormy weather. I just love the bright colours up against the a gray background 😅😊 you guys are just adorable ☺️ what’s the difference between the different Disney bands ? Hey, thanks for watching😁my magic band (Alex) doesn’t light up or interact with certain areas of the parks like vibrations like max’s does, however I believe they are discontinuing the older magic bands so will have to use the newer ones which require you to charge them up if you want the light and vibration feature! 🤗

Another great vlog. Question, I noticed you were using the DJI pocket 3 on previous vlogs. What settings were you using for vlogging? Gimbal mode, manual or automatic, frame rate etc.? Just curious as I just bought one and have been practicing for my next WDW trip in March and watching all kinds of videos on it. The final footage looked great! What editing software did you use? I downloaded Davinci and have been learning that program. Lots of questions, I know 😊 but just curious. Thanks, have a great night.
Hey! So all of the settings are just the default ones which came with the camera! Haven’t changed anything and I’m really pleased with how it’s turned out. 1080 at 30fps then the setting which says ‘good for vlogging’. Just been using iMovie… 😁
@@Max_and_Alex Awesome! Thanks for the reply. I have a bunch of footage on my Pixel 7 from my trip two weeks ago that I'm going to try and edit in Davinci and see what I get. Can't wait to try out the Pocket 3 on this trip in March. Seems to be an awesome little camera. See you in the parks!

Hey, we have yes. Paris is tiny compared to Disney World. You can do Paris in 2/3 days compared to Orlando where you need 2 weeks haha… I personally prefer Disney World as there is so much more to do and see, places to eat, I love the cast members there and hotels.
