Grew up listening to Rez Band through my preacher dad. I was so nervous looking up a Christian artist in this day and age when all of Christianity has been taken over by violent, angry, spineless cowards. Hearing someone I looked up to as a kid staying true to the faith and putting God's people first is truly relieving. Excited to be able to listen to Rez Band for the rest of my life with a light conscious.
Kudos to the work Glenn has done, in action, for Chicago's inner city. There's so much wrong with the fundamental politics I wouldn't even know where to start. All people regardless of ill conceived ideas are capable of doing great and shite works. I am sure, having talked with Rex quite bit in the course of lessons, you guys have to clash at every turn. I'll start just by saying that the southern border is not tit-for-tat some race hill to die on. Go to Texas and tell me that what is happening at the Southern border could not be affecting would-be immigrants across the globe. The American way of life belongs in some way to all countries and colors, and not inherently to one that sits in close proximity.
I love a real Christian like this. What happened to the church? They turned their eyes to idol worship of a money grubber like trump and away from God. God is the orphan the convict, the sick, and the weary traveler.

I will always, always, always love, respect and look up to Glenn as he was almost an idol of mine for decades but, wow, that was a lot of liberal democrat talking points....and no, I'm not a racist for disagreeing with my dear brother on certain issues.
I love Glen and Rez and have for many years BUT this is goofiness. Mostly Evangelical cliches here and left leaning skin off the Bologna. More Bible less jabberwocky. More Gospel less politics. More Jesus less leftist hand wringing and finger pointing.
Few people influenced my young faith with his words as much as Glenn Kaiser. So sad to hear how off track and liberal he comes off these days in interviews like this. I love his heart, but he's barking up too many wrong trees with his left-leaning politics lately.

Imagine not knowing anything about an artist for decades and “getting surprised” when said artist stays true to who they have always been. All the while not noticing the soul of the church being sold for political power in the 80s-90s.

Rez have always been an "Issues" band (I mean shit man- they were hippies back in the day)- So nothings changed- so why the big surprise... Their music is cool but man-politics and religion (yuck) But still- just enjoy the music if you like Rez and Glenn etc.
