I use a gold beaded pull chain…. Purchased from Lowe’s and cut to size …. It works perfectly Able to hold my large Mercedes key without sticking out of the bottom….. very classy looking
I had an extra small clasp (pochette size) with the gold on it. I have the 6 key holder so I slid a ring if the tiny chain over the key holder and it hangs out the clasp hangs out the bottom. I then hook it on my d ring of my bag, just like a key cles

Have wanted a 6 key holder for years but always had huge ford keys. saw your hack while surfing YT and just received my Damier Graphite 6 key holder from Fashionphile. It's a beaut and thanks to you i can put my huge key on, keep it outside and not disfigure the holder. Thank you.

Absolutely it works there! But I would avoid it because it could cause wear and tear to the edges of the canvas.
