When I first started to view this video I thought to myself; 'Now this is what people want to really see, especially if they are seriously looking to purchase this Bible and I am. Well, I'd already decided to buy a number of copies, one for myself and others for gifts. But I have continued to look as I've really gone for this one as I've been reading the old Nelson Open Bible NASB for at least 40 years. The first one started falling apart, a hard cover. So, I went to the expensive Genuine Leather in the early '80's and it's still perfect! So, I learned my lesson long ago to buy the best for the long haul, always real leather etc. You know it's a shame that other Bible publishers have not been putting effort into this edition NASB with top leather etc. but because of their lacking this Zondervan NASB version should be a best seller once word gets around. Also, I think the price is very good for comparison to other very good leather with Smyth Sewn binding for long term use. Moroccan leather additions that Cambridge sells are the low end of their leather Bibles and if you've ever owned a new one those Bibles stink as all Moroccan leather stinks. I've been to the manufacturing where they process the leather for all Moroccan leather in Fez. For at least 2,000 years they still use the same methods, tried and true but they do use pigeon poop for the acid that's needed to process the leather at the first dunking/soaking. So, there's good reason why the leather takes time to air out. Yes, I bought quite a number of leather pieces and yes, it does air out over time. ha. Hang in there bro. Great name: Caleb!
