The word STUPID was a word when I was growing up that my Dad forbid us kids to use. When I went into the Army that word got doing around quite a bit. To me that is like calling out your mom in a derogatory way. It is fighting a word to me and some people may have issues upstairs mentally but you shouldn't use that word in my opinion. We had a guy that was in my unit from Virginia, he was a little slow but a he'll of a guy and expert marksman. This other guy from Philly was always giving this kid a hard time, I heard the guy call him STUPID about 3 times too many! I made it my business and we proceeded to get down to business after a formation, I got my point across to him and the rest of the unit. About a year later we had been in Afghanistan for about 3 months and it was this kid from Virginia that ended up dragging this guy from Philly out of harms way when he was caught up in some razor wire during a fire fight. They became pretty close after that but I never heard him say the word again. May the best man win! Good day.
