Jeff played for the Venados de Mazatlán in the 70s. Great player, very serious, quiet, but he was an idol of the people of Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico. I was a child and he was my idol. In Mazatlan he is fondly remembered
I remember during the first parade, I was wearing my 1980 retro orange McCovey jersey. I saw McCovey past, I turned around and let him see his number and name, I turned back and he waved at me. I remember seeing Leonard and yelling at him, "They did it for you." He looked puzzled like why are you yelling at me? Forever Giants, thanks.
He grew up on my block on Felton st. One hell of an arm...
WEST PHILLY!!!!
The Hac-man was a great guy and a helluva ball player!! One of my all-time fav Giants...#00
I used to play video games with Jeff and his two sons at the arcade Tilt in the Fashion Island Mall in San Mateo California back in the 90's.
Dang man you brought up THE TILT. I miss when the movie theater was a 2nd run joint for a $1.50 admission.
One of my favorites when I was a kid
GREATEST GIANT OF ALL TIME!! JEFFREY LEONARD'S THE BEST!!!

Thanks for uploading this. I never saw this one. I met the Hac-Man at a playoff game in 2010 {think it was Game 2 of the NLDS against Atlanta}.

Ryne Sandberg dealt with the same BS with the Phillies in the 190',s . But he's good now.
