Is there a slight possibility that you are making a tutorial series

Kenji Hirai Yes I am. Been working on a few things. Right now I am in the middle of the busy season but hope to get some tutorials finished up soon.

+Jay Plant Awesome. I'd love to learn even the basics of painting and masking (working with the vinyl masking and cutter, etc).

Can I ask what point you use and what brand of vinyl and also assume you use a vinyl plotter. I paint pretty much exclusively. gaming controllers and cases. I use auto air and wicked and I use Oramask 813 vinyl and a silhouette cameo. You see to get amazing coverage with your paint and exceptionally quick drying time given how quickly you apply vinyl after the paint. If possible would love to get answer to those questions. Excellent work by the way!

Hi Dave. Thanks for the kind words. I use Urethane automotive paints. They have a pretty fast flash time but they are toxic so a mask is a must. The vinyl is Avery Paintmask and yes I do use a vinyl cutter.

Thanks so much for your prompt reply. Love your videos, super entertaining and informative. Thanks for making such excellent content! If I could ask is there a specific brand of clear that you use to ensure maximum protection against scuff from pucks, sticks etc. Always amazed at how durable the clear is on these masks. If you choose not to divulge your specific brand I understand. Thanks again!

Masks will chip. There is no clear that can totally prevent that. I use PPG High Solids clear and sometimes Tamco High Impact clear.

Once again, I appreciate your response. Do you have any longer videos, that are not timelapse. It would be interesting to see you paint in real time.Cheers!
