My name is Mariel, and I started getting into fashion in the past few years and am learning so much about it. I'm drawn to fashion as I believe it is an art form that not only allows individuals to express themselves but also creates a history and record of different time periods and generations. Love moths, I'm going as a moth this year, you can really wear anything as long as you have the antennae hopefully people will get what you're supposed to be.

Love your ideas! My sewing machine broke and now I probably won't finish the halloween costume I was working on (vintage skeleton/reaper), so I'm looking for something else (and a little easier to make that won't require a sewing machine). I love the ideas of a flower or a dandelion (or a mushroom, I've seen a few really cute mushroom costumes!).
My go to for Halloween is usually something+demon; demon plushie, mirror demon, plant demon, demon cat, forest demon is my favorite costume I've ever made.
I also have an older costume I still really love that's a stardust witch, it has a cute starry cloak.

i saw so many Pearl of Maxine costumes 😭 kinda discouraging for me (i know this isn’t a good mindset)
I only saw a couple on tiktok but not in real life, i still think it’s a pretty unique/niche one! But anyways it’s ok to have the same costume as someone else too :) great minds think alike!
