My hubby still doesn’t get the point of me going grocery shopping by myself. And it’s so much more relaxing to go without the kids 😅. Instead of 1 store being over an hour of shopping, it’s literally 15-20 mins and more peaceful. Almost feels like “me time”.
Husbands coming for grocery shopping is dang so annoying 😂 he frets when I don't follow the grocery list to the T. One item outside the list is a big no-no to him😂

I cannot tell you how nice it is to know that other parents lose their kids shoes!!! It happens to us all the time and it always makes me feel like a failure. Nice to know I’m not alone!!
They literally disappear into thin air.. I’m convinced the sock and shoe fairy of the same one…you’re not alone love 🤔😆
Umm and socks. Socks are the worst. As fast as I can get them on they're off...
I work at an Italian restaurant that puts fig jam on a plate burratta mozzarella on top then you drizzle with olive oil cracked black pepper it is divine!!

We have a newer Aldi across town and just recently went to check it out. Bigger, more choices, lighter and brighter. Just a better shopping experience!! Definitely going to be a regular stop for me!! I started Chesapeake Shores on Hallmark. It has like 5/6 seasons or maybe more. VERY clean.
Also Heartland. That has a million seasons. VERY VERY clean!!!
The Vital C is sooo good! And 10000% about shopping alone. Total me time!
GT’s Kombucha is the only one o really like! They nail the flavors every time. My fav is only carried at Trader Joe’s and is the strawberry lemonade. Yummy!!
Lovely haul 😊 can recommend giving the little one chalk to use inside as it wipes off everything so easily and doesn't stain. They feel creative and you don't get a huge mess. ^-^

As a mama to 11, Aldi and Costco are two of my favorite stories! The Vit C Kombucha is strong but good! Homemade is always the best, but in a pinch, that brand is good! Thanks for taking us along with you.

I went to Ruler foods this morning (which is like an Aldi but from Kroger) welp I had a breakdown because I had my cart filled up, a screaming baby in it and a 3 year old running around - they had NO people checking anyone out. Only self checkout was open. And it said "limit 25" when I tried to keep scanning. No one told me it was 25 and under....no where did it say it....our checking account was negative (I was waiting for my husband to move money over) so I couldn't buy the bags and there was just a little bit of room for me to put my groceries on.
I was so frustrated because no one said anything to me about it being 25 and under and I very clearly had more than 25 items...and no one else was available to help they were just watching everyone check out at self checkout.
I had to abandon my cart and I went to my car and cried. 😅
One of the things in my cart was that komubucha too! I really wanted to try it
I've been in a situation like that, I feel your pain. I had left my wallet at home, screaming kids, pregnant, and a full trolley at the checkout. I had to go home to get my wallet - leaving my trolley full at the shop, and I was so stressed I had a car accident on my way back. Not my finest hour.
38 states have ALDI’s. Not Oregon!!
