I just discovered your videos. I'm in a different situation. Iam a Christian who almost became a JW. I studied with JW's for 6 years - long enough to cause problems in all relationships with family and close friends. I had an encounter with Jesus when a Christian convinced me Jesus died for ME. It seemed awful that JW's forbid praying to Jesus - not even to say THANK YOU for dying for me! So I asked Jehovah to forgive me if I was wrong, but I was pretty sure God wouldn't be angry with me for saying thank you to his son. And so I thanked Jesus and was born again. It took another year or so for the questions and fears and cult-induced confusion in my brain to dissipate!
I get excited when I see you’ve posted some thing because I love your videos this is just an encouragement for you to do more I grew up a Jehovah’s Witness but thankfully left over 30 years ago - ah - that’s crazy! But it has totally been a focus of my entire life I continue to pray and try to witness to my family who are still in!
Fortunately, the EXJW dissident does not have to fill out an activity report every month. The life of an EXJW is a thousand times more fulfilling than the life of a Watchtower slave. LOL. Thank you for your video.
facebook.com/groups/812516622726991/?ref=share Hope this link works! I don’t think it shows up because it’s private. Looking forward to chatting with you in there:)
I've always wondered if JW's believe God listens to everyone's prayers, or just theirs. I know they don't join in prayer with people of other faiths, and they will not let a Christian pray for them if they come to their door in the ministry. And with non witness family, if a prayer was offered at mealtime, we JW's were to politely bow our head pretending to listen, but in our own minds, saying our own prayer to Jehovah without them knowing. Is that crazy or what? I was a witness at one time, but as I recall, we did not believe that Jehovah answered the prayers of anyone other than JW's. I am now a Christian, by the way! Christ changed my life from following men in a cult to following Him! But this prayer thing has always confused me. It seems like I read in the literature one time that God only listens to the prayers of those who call on the name Jehovah. Can you ask your husband about this?
Funny you mention about JWs not really paying attention to the prayer at mealtime. I am a Christian, never been a JW, but I married a JW, long story. However, my wife will say "Amen" when I give thanks for meals. On the other hand, my daughter, who is completely lost in that cult, will NEVER say "Amen" when I give the prayer. If I am among JWs, I will not say "Amen" also, but I at least give a bit of a "groaning" of approval. Then can here me at least vocally responding, but my daughter, and her JW husband, won't even acknowledge whenever I give a prayer for a meal. But the fact that my own wife will say "Amen" gives me hope. I pray the Lord rebuke the evil spirit that captivates them and stops their ears from hearing the Truth in Christ. May God remove the scales from their eyes and the plugs in their ears so they can see and hear, and come to the knowledge of repentance, and forgiveness in Jesus Christ.
@@richbaker7187 Amen to that, my brother. There is freedom and peace in Christ that the JW's will never experience until they learn the true gospel and understand what being a Christian really means. I hope your wife will wake up soon, but when I was a JW, I always said a silent prayer when a non JW was praying and I would say Amen at the end of their prayer, but it was really Amen to the end of my prayer to Jehovah. Your wife may be doing the same thing. You should ask her. But never give up hope on your wife or your daughter. I pray they will see the real truth in Christ! I will never forget when the scales fell from my eyes!!
I can understand your husband willingness to be reprimanded for marrying you. You are great. Dont get divorced as it is not an option according to God's law. I am a Christian minister and can tell you plainly, orthidoxy does not hold a monopoly upon truth. Some of us claim that Witnesses are not Christians, they claim we are not Christians: reason, logic and history show that we are all Christians.
Well, said. And as a Christian minister you know the Bible does not require believe that Jesus is God for a person to be saved. From what I understand, they do believe that Jesus did die for our sins, died and was buried and rose again on the 3rd day. And they believe in the baptism of the believer. We need to keep in mind that nearly all Protestant denominations participate in at least one form of Pagan idolatry or another. Protestants are not perfect by any means. It could very well be that JWs are more correct than we are.
A M is a ticking time bomb as far as the GB is concerned. Being a major drunk sort of leaves him a target, along with his Vietnam PTSD and uncaring inappropriate comments, he should have been booted a long time ago.
Does your husband have to go to every JW meeting? It is important to Jehovah that you support your spouses. Maybe he can go to church with you once a month and you can to to a JW meeting with him once a month? If they try to give him grief about that then he can tell them that it is important to Jehovah that we support each other in the marriage.
If I were you, and you are in a different situation that I am, I would go with them to the convention, and just keep asking questions that bring light to their constant misinterpretation and un-contextual teachings. They are really easy to find, because MOST of their teaching using bible verses are completely ripped out of context. The point would be to show you are not fearful of being around them, and to ask enough questions to make them really uncomfortable, so much to the point that they ASK YOU NOT to come. Then you may be able to plant that seed in your husbands mind by just being there, and THEY are the ones asking you to leave. Then you can ask where in the bible does it show any precedent of an Apostle or Jesus asking someone to leave who was asking questions. Bring up the Berean verses in Acts 17.
Anthony Morris has issues with alcohol just like a lot of JWs have. The end didn’t come and their having difficulty getting their halls filled. It’s a very difficult and depressing time for the religion in the thralls of coming to their end. Just be sensitive to your husband’s feeling and tell him that Jehovah will forgive him if he’s real sorry for being involved with this cult. I would like to talk to you sometime but in the mean time, stay in prayer and stay in the faith. Peace
I'm the person a few years ago suggested that you talk to Wendi Renay. If I may suggest I think you should go to the convention for two reasons 1) to protect your children in such a large group. 2) So you can see the full extent of the cult. I think you will be surprised at the Drama’s this year. Also, if you decide to go try and look at it as an observer more than as offensive even though it will be.

@@juliemayes2027 correct they do. They assume he is due to what the name michael means, also the the passage using the voice of an arch angel. Which is not literal in its statement.
Jehovah's Witnesses are not a cult. There are probably the only religion that follow bible principles. You wouldn't know because you don't have a personal relationship with Jehovah.
@lulu7777ist Prove the name Jehovah was used in the original Greek scriptures. It was never used. You have a relationship with a Catholic latinisation of the Tetagrammaton. The way your cult throws this name around is disrespectful and blasphemous. Whilst your at ir, prove to me jesus chose your organisation as Gods chosen organisation on earth, PROVE THIS FROM A PROPER BIBLE NOT YOUR NEW WORLD TRANSLATION LIES.
I don't think the JWs will be able to fill up those halls again. I have heard the District Conventions are not held in the stadium but in the smaller assembly halls. People are getting tired of Governing Body's bs.

If jehovahs witness doesnot have the truth there is NO truth IT DOES NOT EXIST. This is coming from someone who was disfellowshipped as a teen because i engaged in fornication which the bible condemns. i viewed women only as pleasure. Came back in my twenties jehovah has blessed be with the love of my life been married for 22yrs.. Any one who leaves Jehovah will REGRET like me ❤❤❤
Glad you’ve been married for 22 years. But the one thing you both will regret is getting back to that religion. Repent and come to Jesus, Jesus who is God before it’s too late. You and your spouse can make it to heaven if you both believe Jesus is God and accept him. Heaven isn’t only for the 144,000 lol
