I never watch Eastenders, but growing up in UK and Ireland, you’re definitely familiar with the soaps. I do actually remember this scene, and I never understood why people liked Phil Mitchell. He's just a thug and a woman beater. This might happen in real life, but Eastenders makes it look as if it’s ok to do this sort of thing.

@@89chrisj EE doesn't have a problem with normalising violence against women it never has mate its the other way around they treat hitting your male partner as something that's fine regardless of the context but treat the other way around as if its the worst thing ever regardless of the context they've literally painted men as being in the wrong in this show for defending themselves against women who have physically attacked them first.
