- 'A local business owner who called the police has claimed the scene was like a horror movie.'
Mark White provides the latest as young children are said to be among at least eight people stabbed in scenes one witness described as like a “horror movie” in Southport.
Both the Home Secretary, and PM Keir Starmer have issued a statement on the major incident, as well as the children's hospital where some patients are being treated.

Armed cops in nearby Manchester have been reported as handing in their guns because they don't want to carry them anymore. So when a major incident kicks off, there aren't enough armed cops to deal with it.

Stop blaming it on mental health. People suffering mental health problems are more likely to be a dangerous to themselves than young children.
I have no doubt that that is true, but it's an incredibly deceptive statement.
The real question is whether people with mental illness are more dangerous to children than people without mental illness.
Obviously it hasn't been announced yet who is responsible but if it does turn out to be one of our minority community members and mental health is a genuine factor then we need to be asking the question of why is mental health such a problem amongst certain communities? Maybe the whole 1st cousin marriage situation needs to be taken seriously instead of pretending it's not happening and just accept there's certain cultures that aren't compatible with the modern western world.
