Loved the episode. This group is a perfect example of what running and sport promotes; A sense of relaxation, determination, focus, teamwork and fearlessness. Thank you Sweat Elite and the athletes of Ethiopia!
The Ethiopians give it a to their sport, but it doesn't stop them from enjoying it and growing alongside their friends and competitors. You got it Mack!
So happy to hear runners like Tadese's level in real time without hearing music cover up the sounds of feet hitting the ground and the breaths. Absolutely wonderful.
Thoroughly enjoyed this. So informative. Loved the odd Thoroughly enjoyed this. So informative. Loved the commentary every now and then. Could see the coach really warmed to the interview.
hell yes thank you so much for sharing only real location I thorouly enjoy love these guys ethiopians are generally so humble btw the coach is great he speaks english very well and all of the athletes aswell
Actually true Ethiopia is unique from Africa because of un colonized country this make different from Africa but Many of Ethiopian are can speak English
They're awesome guys hey!!! So friendly and super happy to laugh, joke and chat. One of the happiest groups I've watched train with a lot banter going down 😄😄 wish I could have understood half of it 😂😄
Yesterday I was doing some strides and for some I achived 2:35 pace and I was like: that's fast. Seeing them using that pace for 1km and being so relax is just amazing.
I love seeing these videos. The Ethiopians seem to have a very similar stride. They look like gazelles when they run because they have long limbs. I've also noticed that they are all toe strikers which encourages me to change how I've been running.
Kenenisa is unfortunately our with a minor injury at the moment, but the next video in the series follows his group and coach. You'll also get to see a bit of him in the final episode so keep your eyes peeled for that!
Hello everyone I need short advice I don't have opportunity now have coach and I never had coach before... my question my age is 27 my best 5k time is 17:40 and my best 50k time is 3 hours and 47 min I would like to improve my 5 km and also the following results what should i do to concentrate fully on 1km to get my base speed up first or run mileage slowly and connect a little bit fast segments!!!
It makes me laugh when he asks the coach the interval times. Every time he says is too slow compared to what they are really doing. For example: He's like ah so 5x200s, will they be going 26s? Coach is like no 23s.
This training should’ve been closely guarded secret😅 Europeans don’t think East Africans train hard or at all 😅 They think running is in their genes that they just wake up and run fast 😅

That group warm up drill routine looks sick
They're really beautiful!! Creates a real sense of unity in the teams. We talk a little more about that in the next episode
I agree! It looks way more like dancing than drills.

This is honestly amazing. There is only so good a video of people running can be but this is astonishingly brilliant. Ethiopians are the best.
There's so much about Ethiopia and the people there that makes it a stand out nation. These guys are powerful, in body and personality!
Can’t wait to see more of this series from Ethiopia! I was with a lot of these guys at Adizero Road to Records in Germany last week. Amazing guys!

2:35 pace for strides is kinda slow, for strides I try to get atleast 3:15 mile pace
2500m altitude 😢
warm up was great. that is just right to loosen all the parts of the body to allow free movement.
Happy to watch such amazing talents. But the pace is too quick If i were to be part of this training . Thanx to sweat elite 💧
I enjoyed the video a lot, Ty

Very very interesting! (like all your other videos) I really enjoyed it! It would be great if you post also a training session of Kenenisa Bekele!

Running is simple for Ethiopia like eating injera🇪🇹🇪🇹🇪🇹
Easily the sickest warmup routine I've ever seen
2:13 you could hear the azan or muslim prayer sound
Yes bro Ethiopia 🇪🇹 is holy country of Christians ✝️ and Islam ☪️
Both live in peace and love and care 🙏

5:06/mile is an easy pace for 5k?? HAHAH that's crazy
Hello everyone I need short advice

my age is 27 my best 5k time is 17:40 and my best 50k time is 3 hours and 47 min
I would like to improve my 5 km and also the following results
what should i do to concentrate fully on 1km to get my base speed up first
or run mileage slowly and connect a little bit fast segments!!!
Normally people build up in mileage first then work on speed afterwards
how many years of training sir?
