There is a better way.. I ran out if money by overspending in the beginning. Luckily I had used some xp points to get a discount from the store. Buy as many licence plates as you can afford, with 5-10% discount. Then sell them. For some reason, with license plates, you can sell them for full price. So if you buy 50 plates at 10% off and sell them, you make 500 cr. repeat.

You can't buy when you have 0 CR
Pick a normal order, take guys rims and tires off. Sell them..then buy smallest cheapest tire and rim. Mount and send the car in it's way.

This is a genuine help. I just run out of money a couple of hours ago on the story mission, can't remember what number it was a front rebuild of the Focus

I ran outta money on the same car because I spent like 1500 at the junkyard right before that. Don't go to the yard until you're like lv 8 tbh, not worth paying the 500 to go until you can at least repair some of the parts you find there

I’ve had to use parts off customers cars to finish other customer cars when I’ve ran low on money before 😅 needed to finish a brake job so started another job which needed exhaust and stole the brakes off that 😂

I think I read somewhere that you can even break the jobs and get a little less money then.
I think it would be awesome if we could drive the cars just outside the garage, there could be a small town or something with shops around and different places to go to, like a big parts shop where we could buy all the parts - it could be optional, buying through tablet could be still in game but for example going physically to shop would be cheaper and you could have some other discounts, it could be a reason to have a proper car to go to city like a bus or a pickup truck to grab more parts, it could also get damaged or used by driving to town - also we could drive to junkyard, auctions and our parking, maybe the road itself could be twisted with some interesting corners and jumps ... i like the game but it could be much more. More real cars would probably be a good start, with some detailed engine bay and other parts, i dont like that there are missing parts under the hood like cables, some plastic covers, tubes and engine or suspension parts float in air, like they dont really fit very well to the chassi ... cool game but could be much better
so there is a mod for pc users on nexus mods to get all the cars real names which is a good step one.. but iget what your saying make an actual physical world to be a part of instead of just being in a garage.

I actually was at a point where I needed a lot more money in order to finish a story job, ran out and just had to work my way up again
the other way to get money is to take on another customer, strip their car sell the parts and finish the original job then slowly put the other customers car over time.

When the job tells you to refill a liquid all you have to do is fill it. You don't have to drain anything unless it specifically tells you to.
ingrained into me to empty everything before refilling i do this in real life if im refilling liquids ill empty them first so it flushes the system gets rid of dirt.... iv also mentioned in a few videos i have ocd issues with certain things..
@@Hybridsteel right, but it costs you in-game money to pour in more liquid, and that's relevant to the subject of your video.
I experienced the same thing now..and I discovered that you dont need to fill full but up to the middle. because if you fill it full you spend money I did not know that either .
I guess this might be the first CMS game where getting out of no money is refilling fluids. Although doing so has its cost, they can be used with 0 credits and don't count debts.
this it was added as a way to stop people going backrupt but thats how i see it.,
You don't have to take the old fluid out unless it specifically says, "Change". Otherwise you can just fill it with the fluid that is there. Which can save you just a couple CR each time.
i know but what i was showing was the games "dont worry mate" even if your broke u can still do basic jobs.

Best way is still taking an order, selling the wheels and putting cheap wheels under the car, some cars sell 500 per wheel, and 4 cheap wheels is a total of 250

Got stuck on the skyline story and had to replace parts of the body
Kinda annoying how you cant drian a radiator properly. IRL there two drian plugs for the radiator which is at the bottom somewhat by the oil pan bolt
annoying isnt it. i had the same problem
And once you get to 100$ you can buy license plates after u have the 5 or 10% shop discount and then go back and resell them for full price.

Thanks! I had spent on expanding the garage and the garage was only to store cars. Then I went broke trying to fix this car electronic car. I should on not expanded but you saved me hy selling plates.
This is a good way, but you need to keep waiting for the jobs that only require these simple tasks.

i have another way of finishing jobs which i will be covering in another video so dont worry but it involves 2 customers
I just start two jobs and sell parts off the one and spend the money on the other lol shady mechanics here 😅 but I just flip junkyard cars till I have enough to put all the parts back on.
its a good way to make money shhhhh were not suposed to promote bad tradings.... nothing to see here.
What if you're late in the game where you only get repair jobs? I was at that point where it wasn't giving me jobs that were only refilling fluids.
the "normal jobs" are random so sometimes u will get easier jobs..
if your not getting these jobs then there is 1 method left the chopshop method.
take on a customer's car strip it sell all the parts and make some money then start repairing other customers cars then when u have brought back ur income rebuild the customers car u stripped.
thats if you have zero dollars left. it sort of means u did stuff you didnt need to do or you spend to much of basic stuff. time to sort of look after ur pennys more. but the chopshop method always works for quick money u just have to rebuild later on

@@Hybridsteel yeah I wasn't thrifty 😂. Only just got the work bench so was buying new all the time 🙄. Takes an age to build back up when just doing fluid changes 🙄😂😂

I use auctions and now junkyard to flip cars with only getting rid of rust and adding new body parts boom it is profit and takes 5mins.
I’m on mission 11 with 300,000$ and level 17, in 1hr stream I can buy cars to be a full garage and do this every 1hr for profit
and thats ok when you have money... this video was setup to help people who have over spent on a project and have nothing left and showing the game has a mechanisium within its code that wont allow you to go full bankrupt..

U can u can use the chop shop method take a job strip the car sell everything. Then when u got cash rebuild the customers car later. Be very careful buying parts for story cars. Build cash between jobs

You are talking crap! I'm at level 9 and I have 29cr left. The game NO LONGER give me fluid-only jobs! Its all mixed jobs which will cost more than 29cr in parts. Which means I'm stuffed.
then u can use the chopshop method which means taking a customers car and removing all the parts selling them off and leaving it outside until u got sorted.
basically what it sounds like though is u have been trying to do too much after level 4 you shouldn't be worrying about money..

When I put the front bumper on my car it says that I didn’t so I can’t complete the story mission what do I do
depending on the mission. some cars need a specific part check the bumper is either standard or comes from the custom app on the computer
Yep, there's two body part departments in the shop, one for regular body parts and one for special body parts (e.g. "Bumper B" or some such). Both of these depts has a sub-section for each model of car.
One thing about this game is that it’s stingy with money. And I don’t like that.
depending on what jobs and discounts u make for yourself its quite easy to make money in thisgame just u gotta be a bit smarter with cash or u can play sandbox mode
Idk what to do,I just finished working on Ford focus with 29 credits, and the only thing left is number plate,which cost 100,and I don't have any missions like those in video with only refilling tasks,should I use cheats or what?
bes thing you can do is the chop shop methord.. bring in a sid emission car sell the wheels finish the focus and then get paid.. then put the customer car back together and finsh their job u will get paid then as well.

they dont get a lot of money its always best to try and find a job that gives 2 things like breaks and fluids its a bit more worth it and extra cash and experience

yes, it does.. but your given a load of money which sort of defeats the object of the game it spoilt it for me a tad so i stuck to campaign

If ur smart you wouldnt have spent all ur money and being able to repair in this game is key to saving more money.. you can do all the story missions without using all ur money
Remember you don't need to fix the entire car to the specified quality level (e.g. 68%), you only need to fix the damaged parts to that level. So in some cases you can even get away with swapping the 14% brake disc on one side with the 87% disc on the other side, and the customer will be happy because the part they told you about is now above their specified repair threshold. It's scummy, but it's an option.

thats just obvious this is for the people who found themselves putting too much into a project and have nothing left.. anyone can play this game and make money u just restore cars and done.. but im hoping when people invest too much and they dont realise it then they know that there is a way out of the zero

I don't like made up cars and trucks they're fake like someone pc modding a car or truck and putting it in tha game when it isnt really in the game
we think it comes down to licensing as if you official name something then it has to be 100 percent correct and u have to buy a license which could be expensive...but u cna mod the name sin using a nexus mod and then everything is named properly
