I cant believe anyone actually believes Mace died. He's a Jedi GRAND Master, it takes a LOT more than a little force lightning, losing a limb and falling from a building to kill him. Luke took much more force lightning from Sidious and walked away just fine. His severed hand would have been cauterized, and finally, Windu would have forced controlled his fall, and landed gently somewhere. He survived, and they need to finish his story.

Yoda was Grand Master, Mace was Master of the Order (which means he leads the council) and he was Jedi General also. But Yoda was the Grand Master.
