That was really deep man. You've opened my eyes because as you explained things I started to realize you're right.

It is gonna be interesting to compare our upcoming videos on Padme's death, Subtext! Now, as for this video, I guess another question we can ask here is: why doesn't Luke remember Padme too considering the fact he is also Force Sensitive like his sister? Of course, the fact he doesn't remember is necessary to build his motivation for confronting and saving Vader. Unlike Leia, he had no memory of either of his parents (until recently at least when he found out who is father is), so this is why it is so important to him that he connect with his father while he still can.

Good point. And yeah, I would imagine Force talents are like any other talents, different beings have different ones. I wanted to get into that but cut it out for time.
And my Padmé video is at least 6-7 months away.

I think Leia didn't really know when actually her mother die. What important is what she says is related to the prequel. But didn't you wonder why in Star Wars Rebels produce by Disney retconned between A New Hope timeline and Rebels when Obi Wan defeat Darth Maul with one strike, Maul ask to Obi Wan that he really believe that Luke is the chosen one. And Obi Wan say yes.
Original trilogy never mentioned about this prophecy but Yoda said if Luke failed there is other, Luke itself said if he failed then Leia will be the last hope. Palpatine in finale prequel trilogy talking about cheat death. If he already mastered the dark side of the Force then, it make his death at Vader's hand is too easy and pointless after we learned his obsession to cheat death. Thats why in Legends he return as cloning. The same thing happen in canon sequel trilogy. Anakin was born through the will of the Force without father is changed drastically this franchise stories. Because that is not how the story tell in original trilogy.

All of this, I think, comes down to the idea that what the characters state as facts, those are in fact only their interpretations, and that is not in line with what the creator thinks. For example, Obi-Wan believed Anakin was the chosen one, until he became Vader. His view, his belief was then shattered, but in order to keep going, he had to find some explanation to make sense of it all, that not everything is lost. So he came up with the comforting idea that maybe Anakin's part in the prophecy was to have a son and that son will be the one who brings balance to the Force. And exactly what Qui-Gon said, his focus determined his reality.

Lucas didn’t have the prequels written yet. He didn’t know that Padme dies in child birth. Leia couldn’t have remembered a few moments after being born. This explanation makes sense if you use the force as an explanation. Close enough. 😂

Leia is Force sensitive. The images and feelings come from the Force. That one is a no brainer. Let's not think TOO hard about it and make it more complicated than it needs to be.
