For people thinking or saying “she’s so self centered saying she wants the attention on her!” A birthday is supposed to be a special day where the birthday girl or boy is the star. No one should take that away.
My sister took away all the attention on my birthday’s but I started to tell my parents to just take me to the mall because then she wouldn’t take the attention (she’s younger)
If you knew the real meaning behind quinceañeras you will know is not about a special day is more tragic than anything and anyways it was special her dad happiness too she just didn't see it that way cuz she used to everything being about her though

I'm not mexican, but I know that it's so wrong to propose on a girls quince. This special day was supposed to be all about her, not them.
There is nothing wrong with it. This tradition has become absolutely ridiculous with families trying to outdo each other and spending $20K on a birthday party. It's not a wedding, it's a birthday and families should not be going into serious debt for one day. A college degree, a vehicle, a down payment for a house when she one day marries or is ready to move out on her own is so much more valuable. It shouldn't matter if your loved ones propose at your birthday party. They paid for this exorbitant affair and all the family is together, it's a beautiful time to do it.

Ik this is tok late for your quince but it might help someone else but a tip is when you like trip over your dress or it gets it the way when you are walking just push the bavk of the dress to the front this helps lift up the front a bit so it dosent get in the way
