A long documentary covering "less known" classic bands that made a huge impact on their genres. Examples: Stone, To/Die/For, Sentenced.

COB is my favorite band of all time.
I listen to them almost every day on Spotify.
I like all the albums, especially Something Wild. It's so amazing, and when i think Alexi and the rest were just teens when they recorded that album with that kind of virtuosity in the music, it is just mindblowing. Rest in Power one and only WildChild \m/

I disagree with how harsh you guys are on everything from Blooddrunk onward. First off, Hexed was amazing. And even albums like Blooddrunk and RRF, while not perfect, had numerous classics on them. And then of course there's the Bodom After Midnight EP, which included some of Alexi's all time best work.

I agree. I first heard COB in 2000 when follow the reaper was released. They immediately became my favorite band and have remained so til this very day. Needless to say I grew up with and worshipped those first 3 records. Even though I am the traditional old school Bodom fan I LOVE the later albums just as much. I think relentless reckless forever especially gets thrown under the bus way more than it ever deserved. To me it's a crushing album all the way through. I will say I think Northpole throw down is a decent track but in my opinion it's the weakest track they ever released but aside from that the album is killer. Halo of Blood is possibly my favorite album not by just Bodom but my favorite record period.

Its very interesting when discussing the albums and the drop of consistency between bloodrunk and IWC I feel the same way about these albums, but they also have something to them its not the same magic cob are known for,but its like a bodom from different dimension I think Alexi had a very strong musical vision and wanted to try different sounds.

Blooddrunk was great aside from like two songs, but even then, the solos were amazing

Very wrong information in here. Children Of Bodom story wasn't short and band apart year before Alexi passed. You should say some facts, wins and stuff for them than starting with his death and making it looks like that was the reason they quit. Also, they say, but in Alexi's book there are different reasons for his departure. He was overworking himself and the only member of the band sleeping at the rehearsal, all of them were drinking all the time! And Seppala, Ratikainen and Wirman didn't "bury" the band, they are still selling useless trinkets from the name of COB, which is not active since 2019. Funny, huh?

Relentless reckless forever was a great album but man the sound was so bad compared to every other. Really let it down imo. Gd doc!
