I love December Daily! I started in 2020 and never looked back. 😄 When I first started I pretty much only used the page protectors. For me it was so easy to use a journal card + photos. You can punch holes directly into the 4x4 cards and add them to your album or you can cut them down to 3x4 to slip into a pocket. They did a whole series on the Ali Edwards blog on how to use a lot of these products. Have fun! 🎄

This was so interesting hearing your thoughts as someone new to this project. My bestie is also trying it for the first time this year. I have created albums for a number if years but I don't use Ali's products, just make my own album with regular scrapbook products. It seems like many if the items in the kit are designed fir the bigger 10x8 album. You can always cut off the hole punched portion of those slightly bigger than 3x8 cards to fit in the 3x8 pockets if you want to use them, especially the journalling ones. Good luck! Thank you! Yes, I guess even though I have watched the videos of other people doing this project for years, I didn't realize things weren't interchangeable. Alas, that is on me 🤣 But, I think I have found some workarounds since filming this, so I am crossing my fingers it works!
Oh my, wonderful haul. You have a lot to learn. You have no need for all the page protecter, unless you prefer to go that way. Its called outside of the page protecter page. You can take the 8.25 x10 papers that came in the main kit cut them down to 8.25 x 7, punch the 6 holes for the rings and that becomes your base for pictures, journalizing etc. Those 4 x 4 cards that you have you can just punch 3 holes for the rings and use them for journalizing and/or pictures. The envelopes you have can be mounted on the inside cover of your album. I hace used mine for my christmas cards. Hope this helps. Also go onto Ali's blog post she has all her December Daily's form the beginning. Its amazing how talented and creative people can be with paper. I hope you enjoy your journey with December Daily. PS Don't get overwhelmed or intimidated. And get a tape runner.
I definitely think it will be! At least until I get into a good rhythm of what I am looking to do. My hope is to kind of plan out what I want to do ahead of time, so that I can make sure that I am being efficient with my time. But, I also enjoy the creative process of scrapbooking, so hopefully it won't feel like a lot of work 😊
