  • Like buses, they always come in two's!
1Z43 the UK Railtours 'The Blyth and Tyne or Beamish Open Air Museum' Class 43's 43468 and 43480 of Rail Adventurers from Finsburys Park to Bedlington Sidings
1Z44 Hastings Diesels Ltd with 'The Lincolnshire Poacher' 1001 Hastings DEMU from Hastings to Skegness
A question please. Do the HST's always run 'together'? I was hoping to see one at the front and one at the back. I suppose there's a simple answer to this.
    Any comments appreciated.
    Enjoy.

Thanks, I should have gone to Biggleswade though.

Lovely stuff Tony! Here's my effort for the HDL ruclips.net/video/8tWtTLpbsdg/видео.htmlsi=ExVdZHhJ4uVJW2UX - needless to say yours is better!
Interesting that it came through Biggleswade on the fast line but was on the slow by the time it got to you.
I saw the return leg too at Furzenhall Lane - didn't manage to video it, but it looked lovely from across the fields.
I don't know about the HST I'm afraid. I was intrigued seeing the two power cars at the front. It was running with air conditioned mk 2s so maybe they're not wired up the same as mk 3s to enable running a power car at either end?
    Hope all's well. Take care.
