Maithon Dam - operated by Damodar valley corporation, on Barakar River, underground power station established (1st in whole South - East Asia) , specially designed for flood control.
Kapurthala :- Princely state during British era, ruled by Ahluwallia Dynasty is famous as Tourist place, for wheat, all kind rice, sugar, cotton, Railway coach factory & yes in Kapurthala Prominent Buildings are based on French + Indo - saracenic Architecture...
