    Bum la pass located in arunachal pradesh at a height of 15,200 feet. Famous for Tawang monastery ( the second biggest and oldest in Asia). currently serves as trading point between tawang and tibet. Agreed Border Personnel Meeting Point for security forces of India-China.

    Tawang Monastery is known in Tibetan as' Gaden Namgyal Lhatse' it was founded by Merak Lama Lodre Gyatso in 1680-1681.
    2. Trans himalyas is an extension of tibetian plateu ,its created due to the collision with the eurasian plate .

    *Ladakh range - Due to high altitude and low humidity, the radiation level is amongst the highest in the world.
    *zanakar range - Zanskar Range is part of the Tethis himalyas , an approximately 100-km-wide synclinorium formed by strongly folded and imbricated ,
    * kailash range - The Kailash Range was the theatre of conflict during the 1962 Chinese offensive, with key battles at Rezang La and Gurung Hill. and also considered to be sacred religion place ,Budhism ,jainism and hinduism .
