Forced horizontal adduction test

Description: With one hand, hold the elbow on the affected side of the participant and hold the healthy shoulder of the participant with the other hand. The FT performs a forced ADD movement from the affected side to the healthy side.
Evaluation: if the test is positive, there will be pain in the acromio-clavicular joint, which indicates a joint problem or a previous Impingement. The absence of pain after the infiltration of an anesthetic into the acromio-clavicular joint indicates precisely a problem in this joint.
