      Knowing how hard life used to be back then (and still is) for those immigrants in my country, I can tell you for sure that Giannis' lifestory is a true fairytale, a lesson that must be taught all over the world about persistence, faith and hard work. And knowing how humble the entire Antetokounmpo family is and how much love and care they have for each other, I can reassure you that they LITERALLY deserve everything they are getting. Greetings from Greece! Go Giannis, Go Bucks!

    There was a pretty blatant innacuracy during the Giannis 60 minutes special which makes me wonder how much research does the CBS news staff really do before broadcasting to a worldwide audience of millions. I'm not an award winning journalist (I just know my NBA facts 😎) but I can tell you that Giannis will not be the first foreign born player to have his own signature shoe with Nike. That player would actually be Kyrie Irving who was born in Mebourne, Australia.

      Δεν θέλω να γίνω εχθρικός, αλλά αν κατάλαβες ότι ταυτίζω την Ελλάδα με στάβλο, έχουμε πολύ μεγαλύτερο πρόβλημα απ' ότι λέγεται με τον λειτουργικό αναλφαβητισμό..Χρησιμοποίησα παράδειγμα, όχι παρομοίωση. Το γεγονός βεβαίως εξακολουθεί να υφίσταται. Η Αμερική δεν έχει καμιά σχέση με την Ελλάδα..και προφανώς δεν χρειάζεται να εξηγηθεί αυτό.

      Get your fascist blood purity negativity out of here. He's Greek enough for Greek people to be celebrating him as a national hero, which is what he is. If Greeks like you don't want him, he's welcome here as an American 100%. If here were born in Milwaukee instead of Athens where he was born, he'd be considered American 100%. Deal with it.

      Το αν σηκώνει κάτι συζήτηση φίλε μου δεν το αποφασίζουμε εμείς. Αυτό γιατί διολισθαίνουμε σε πολύ περίεργες εποχές λόγω της πολιτικής ορθότητας. Παρόλα αυτά επειδή στην Ελλάδα το πολίτ μπιρό αποφάσισε ότι συζητήσεις περί Έθνους δεν θα γίνονται (εκτός αν είναι για να πούμε τις ανιστόρητες ηλιθιότητες που ακούγονται από τους εδώ χρήσιμους ηλίθιους επαγγελματίες αντιεθνικιστές) δεν έχουμε και μεγάλη ιδέα περί της έννοιας του Έθνους. Επειδή μάλλον είσαι μπερδεμένος η εθνικότητα του λοιπόν είτε μένει στη Γη του πυρός είτε στην Μολδαβία είναι και θα παραμείνει Νιγηριανή! Η υπηκοότητα του θα είναι Μολδαβική, Βραζιλιάνικη ή τέλος πάντων οποιασδήποτε χώρας αιτηθεί διαβατήριο. Το ξανάπαμε. Το ότι θα παντρευτώ μια Ελληνίδα και θα κάνω χαρτιά στην Ιαπωνία για δουλειά (αυτό λέγεται μετανάστευση και όχι μπουκάρω στην χώρα όποτε θέλω χωρίς να ρωτήσω, απαξιώνοντας τις αρχές και τους νόμους της από την 1η στιγμή που πατάω στο έδαφος της και μετά κάνω και λαθρεμπόριο, εις βάρος του γηγενούς επιχειρηματία ) και το παιδί μου γεννηθεί εκεί ΔΕΝ το κάνει Ιάπωνα. Λυπάμαι για όσους δεν καταλαβαίνουν, αλλά αδυνατώ να το κάνω πιο απλό. Θα πρότεινα να διαβάσεις το "Εθνικισμός" του Αλ. Παπαναστασίου και το "κράτος και Έθνος" του Δημήτριου Βεζανή ως 1 καλή αρχή. Αφήνουμε τις απόψεις των αρχαίων Ελλήνων περί φυλής, γιατί μπορεί να είναι σοκαριστικές! "Η εθνικότητα έχει να κάνει με την ηθική". Τι ακούγεται ρε φίλε loooool. Aλλά βέβαια με την σκόπιμη αμορφωσία του μεταπολιτευτικού βόθρου τι να περιμένεις;
