It is terrifying how easy it is for Giannis to get all the way from halfcourt to the rim with a single dribble and finish with a dunk from the foul line. And he definitely knows that as well (being a Giannis fan myself) which is why he’s putting pressure on the Bucks to do something about it. He doesn’t wanna waste his prime. He’s 29 now. Knowing how injury free and resilient he’s been throughout his career, I’d say he probably still had a good 5 years minimum of his prime. Genuinely I think it's only hardly a competition and I do believe Giannis is still the best player alive. Jokic is flashy but efficient, but Giannis is dominant, powerful and effective.

True and don't forget it probably would have been Giannis vs. Jokic in the finals last year if Jimmy Butler didn't go crazy in the playoffs...

Depends on what you enjoy I guess. I personally prefer Jokic's slow is efficient, efficient is fast style over Giannis's explosiveness but I'm just glad we have two incredible players with two very different styles in the MVP race every year

@@SentientTeapot2444 i hate watching Jokic tbh. He's great but I like to watch athletic players like Giannis or ja Morant. Jokic is one of the best passers I've ever seen tho I will admit. And he can shoot like a guard

I’ll admit that Giannis got away with a foul on McCollum, but that sequence against Portland is still awesome. Plays (mostly) stifling defense on a great perimeter player, outruns everybody for the go-ahead dunk, and then blocks a legit center at the rim to finish it.

noticed from this he dunks with both hands equally nice... alot of defenders went for the right but he committed left and banged on them. I gotta see other players who dunk both hands without thinking... usually they dunk with whichever hand based on circumstance... not natural choice.

Why Giannis is so good at stopping the opponents from scoring? Because he jumps after they jump which gives him an advantage, while they are past the height of their jump he is just climbing it and has an extra time to work with the ball.

if by 2 you mean 34 then yes. Look at 4:55, he bounces it once from half court to the basket. I wish they changed the too many steps rules instead of pretending they don't exist.
