It is terrifying how easy it is for Giannis to get all the way from halfcourt to the rim with a single dribble and finish with a dunk from the foul line. I don’t think he’s in the beginning of his prime anymore tbh. And he definitely knows that as well (being a Giannis fan myself) which is why he’s putting pressure on the Bucks to do something about it. He doesn’t wanna waste his prime. He’s 29 now. Knowing how injury free and resilient he’s been throughout his career, I’d say he probably still had a good 5 years minimum of his prime. Still, it’s more like he’s right smack in the middle of his prime.

As an old man who's seen a lot of ball, all I can say is he reminds me of Dr. J. (especially the young ABA Dr. J)

honestly that block in the NBA finals have to be one of the best block ive ever seen in my life . The instincts to stop that dunk COMING FROM A LOB is not normal .

Doris Burke really dug into her literary knowledge with the Walt Whitman reference there for no reason whatsoever.

Lol, that's actually Lisa, one of the Bucks broadcast commentators, and she broke it out because Giannis had just been named All Star Captain. a little silly out of context though

I love how he only needs 2 steps to do all that dunks

if by 2 you mean 34 then yes. Look at 4:55, he bounces it once from half court to the basket. I wish they changed the too many steps rules instead of pretending they don't exist.
