@@gmediagroupss In football its best to be ambidextrous , that way the opponent can´t predict your striking or movement with the ball.
So players naturally will always try to improve the weaker leg.
The mentality is not to play with one leg better than the other , play excelent with both legs.
@@Nycku007 I learned that the hard way when I went to college. In high school if I did not have the ball on my right leg I could dribble by hapless opponents until it was on my right leg. In college everyone is much better. I had three break away's my first game and was 0-3 cause they were all on my left foot. I wish I had coaches that forced me to kick with my left when I was young but I did not have coaches who knew anything. Grew in in NJ US.

I am kidding, but football still has alot to grow in the US , curently its not so popular as the big 4 leagues.
@@Nycku007 Our women do well because we are a big country and have a lot of great female athletes. Being a college all star is good enough in the women's game at this point (but for how long?), but not for the men. US Men's soccer is going nowhere. I actually played against the USMNT back in the 80s. It was a college all star team and I played against a few in college also. I wonder if US high school kids watch Man CIty or Barcelona and wonder why they can not link two passes let alone 20. They play kick and run. We had a lot more skill 40 years ago in the same areas. It is very sad to be a soccer player in the USA.
When he was maybe 12 years old he was practicing football and tennis at the same time, so his father told him he needed to decide which sport he'll focused on. And he choose tennis and now he is the goat.

His "other" uncle, Miguel Angel Nadal, was a heck of a football player in the 90s. Central defender for Barcelona, Mallorca, and the Spanish national team. I'm sure Nadal could have become a professional player in just about any sport.
Nadal probably would have been a world class football player had he chosen it over tennis.
In an alternate world he would definitely be playing in Barcelona or Real Madrid etc. and famous like Messi and Ronaldo. He'll be successful because of his talent, fighting spirits and work ethics.

I played college soccer in the US and also play tennis at a good level. Have you ever tried to juggle with a tennis ball? It's super difficult as the contact surface is so much smaller. Rafa really has control over the tennis ball and has amazing control skills with a football ball. I read somewhere that he was playing locally in Mallorca at a high level and could've easily played professional (his uncle played for Barcelona and the Spanish national team.) Only a few chosen ones can say that. I went to Rafa's town of Manacor with my nephew as he was playing an indoor soccer match against Manacor's public school and let me tell you that those kids can really play. They destroyed my nephew's private school 8-0 and if it weren't because my nephew is a great goalie, they would've scored 4 or 5 more. I don't know what they feed those kids in Manacor but they're super competitive (they are top of the table for the entire island and has been like that for years.) They take sports VERY seriously there.

Yea the size and bounce of tennis ball is harder to control, even Zlatan missed easily when they were messing around. Of course Zlatan wasnt used to tennis balls bounce. Still it's harder than a soccer ball.
Rafa Nadals uncle played in FC Barcelona. For sure he played a lot of football in his childhood but decided to for tennis.
