I relate to how Prof Lieu feels about drawing: it lets me melt into a different reality for a while. Making hundreds of small and quick decisions makes it hard to think about real life problems.
The description says woodless pencil as material but clearly she is using a blue wood pencil with thick led that has been sharpened with a knife. Can anyone tell what type of pencil? Is it charcoal or graphite?

I love to hear you talk through your process. I find that very helpful and instructional.

I'm amazed at how it all comes together in the end. I love to draw but I'm heavy on the eraser.
Thanks so much for the long version instruction. You're such a fantastic teacher!

Fantastic!! Also both the long and short versions are great. One too learn with and one to review.
