I lived in Austin in the early 2000's and then would fly back there for work every once in a while from 2008 to around 2015 or so. Back then the only flights to/from Austin were only regional flights or to/from the really major hubs (NY, DFW, IAH, ORD and a few others). Since when did international routes like LHR and FRA start flying direct to AUS? And what is the driving reason behind these direct international flights?
Austin is growing bigger every year and a lot a tourist maybe? But it’s good seeing KLM Lufthansa Bristish airways and Virgen Atlantic come over and in the future Aer Lingus

@@oscargalvez8803 We also get Copa Airlines, Aero Mexico and Air Canada flying in. Plus Hawaiian in the mornings
