I was there at the Atlanta show. It was an amazing show. I wasn’t expecting Keef to sing 3 songs much less my favorite stones song “happy” when he played those opening chords to happy I couldn’t help it but to jump. Rock on Keef 🤘
I love their vintage music 🎶 🎵. Happy is one of my favorite songs 🎵 ❤️. Keith you look so Happy singing and you are enjoying it. Keith your smile 😃 is epic. I need a love to keep me Happy,Keith your music 🎶 🎵 makes me Happy.
Happy! My brother and I caught our first Stones show October 1965 (“Get Off My Cloud”). Saw them again July 1966 (“Paint it Black”), in both concerts they primarily played Gibson Firebirds, and Epiphones, with Fender Showman amps (Bill had a Vox Foundation amp). It’s still strange to see them with Fender guitars. This comes from a Fender bass player.
Wow, I’m envious! I figured I was the old guy on here from seeing the boys at Madison Square Garden on the Ya-Ya’s tour (November 1969), but you’ve got me beat by a few years. Best regards buddy, and keep rockin’.
@@chasbodaniels1744 Hey man, I neglected to mention catching the Stones in November 1969, a few days prior to the MSG show, at the Baltimore Civic. This was the first Stones show that didn’t feature screaming chicks (apologies to females, one and all, but that’s the way it was) drowning out the band. It was incredible to hear Charlie miked, and the Stones with a proper PA system. First tour for Mick Taylor, also. In the spring of 1969, I saw MT playing with the Bluesbreakers at the Whiskey a go go, in which he wore a tan corderoy jacket, playing a Les Paul. The Stones glammed him up and he played a cherry SG. What a difference!
Wonderful insights there, especially details on their gear, and on the evolution of the crowd! There was a span (1966-76 maybe) where people went to seriously listen to rock artists rather than scream. Amazing how many of us have stayed cool after a lifetime of paying the bills and raising kids. Glad you’re one of them!
I’m 45 and an extreme music fan , everything from Otis Redding to The Misfits . I always wonder if the Stones knew what the impact would be while recording records like Exile and Sticky Fingers . You can put them in now , right now , and they still engulf a listener . I know it’s only rock n roll , but damn I like it .
Right on, brother! OG Misfits and Stones fan here as well! We're very lucky to be able to see these bands live so many years after they hit the stage! I'll be in Austin seeing the Misfits in August as well!
Brilliant exactly. self introduced, Mick? used to sing harmony . This song makes me fall in Love!!!! Keith has such a good voice really. sweet. Whatsisname has got him covered too.Just great!!

Great show! Worth the wait in line in the sun (LOL!) I felt so young and carefree. The band, especially Mick is an inspiration to me! I had to leave early but I could hear Jumping Jack Flash loud and clear when I was outside!!
Must have been standing right beside you. Exactly my viewpoint. Thanks for capturing all of these! I have only snippets of the show. Looking forward to Chicago!!
Keith in matching green head band, Ronnie right there supporting him. Steve Jordan chilling in the back, keeping the beat. Keith sang 3 songs at the show. Can't wait until Philly on Tuesday.
@2v_5r84 your correct, i should know that, think i confused my history with another keith solo venture. i actually saw stones in 1981 at candlestick sf, as well as 1978 in oakland, and even 1975 at cow palace SF, as a 14 year old...taken by my mom with her tripping friends. yep, true. i used to get the bootleg cassettes of stones live pre internet. to close, best tour of any rock bank probably stones 1969, clearly get your ya ya out is best live album of all time, with frampton tied probably. anyhow, lotta stones in this boy. so, what is that keith song...ill remember
I saw them at their first stop in the USA, Houston, TX. They played/sang Very Few Old songs. IMHO if there was Ever a place to sing the song Girl With Faraway Eyes it was in Texas. They didn’t sing it. If I had known their playlist I wouldn’t have traveled, all the way from Far West Texas, to see them. In the past I’ve seen the Eagles twice, Jackson Browne twice, John Prine, BB King twice… I could go on and on, but apparently those who got to see the RS after their first concert got a better show. Shameful!
@2v_5r84 Thank you for your comment. I’m glad someone saw my point. I appreciate it. I mean, as an example, I Love Jackson Browne but the first time I saw him he Sucked. The second time I saw him, in Portland, Maine, he was on his acoustic tour and he more than made up for the first experience. Just him, a grand piano and about 20 tuned guitars on the stage. He did have a guitarist come out for a couple of songs to accompany him. He also played mostly old songs plus Sky Blue and Black, which I kept screaming for in between songs, much to my grown son’s chagrin. Lol

Don’t want to imagine a world without the Stones.
I was there on the floor. Mick jagger can still running all over the stage at 80 unbelievable. They were great
The fact that Mick is as spry as he is is a surprise, the face that Keith is still breathing is a miracle
I'm happy to see them tonight but even happier I was able to help setup up the sound, Lighting and stage for this event! What an 😊Awesome experience!
Were you able to interact with the band members?
@@kevinnerz3479 No Unfortunately, but seeing the results was exciting!
I'll be posting a video of building the stage soon.

They sounded fantastic!!!
Fading voice, slower pace, missing riffs... and perfectly brilliant! 😍🥰 💋
Perfectly imperfect! Just magical! ❤❤❤
If Keith misses an occasional riff or two and he wrote it... maybe he doesn't always need those riffs.
“It’s my fucking song, mate.I can play any way I want.So bugger off then, huh?”🤣🤣🤣
