Maryse character development is one of the best things ever 🥹🥹🥹 An okay count was required this episode😂 "Your forehead was glowing" Another spectacular reaction❤
this is a good ep! full of different emotions lol of course the malec scenes and the family dinner was my fav part!! magnus “to much is my middle name” & aweeee “if it’s important to you it’s important to me” I love how down bad magnus and alec are for each other. I can feel your joy through the screen when malec has screentime, alec cracked me up before the dinner, and their goodbye hug with maryse was so cute and sweet I feel bad for maryse as well, she didn’t deserve to be banned and stripped of her runes, it seems we are getting some great character development from her which I love and I’m really warming up to her raphael and rosa, that scene killed me, you immediately tearing up is me too, I teared up again rewatching this with you, david who plays raphael is probably the most underrated actor on this show, it really sucks he’s going through his sister passing 😔 love that izzy was there for him. though cmon raphael what do you think you’re gonna get from this thing with heidi like it seems like such a mistake a side note, clarys outfit is sooo cute both her and izzy looked so good this ep 😳😍 & maryse too she was slaying so agree with most simon was not picking up the hints and needed to back off it made me feel so much worse for raphael, it sucks luke is kicking him out but I understand why, he does have a pack to take care of, and it’s so much trouble having simon there, I just hope simon can find somewhere to stay and jaceeeeee is the owl🤔 obviously he’s not remembering everything that happens though dying and coming back would make him vulnerable and easier to posses/manipulate as some people have said already lol
David's acting has been so consistently amazing! he gives me chills and tears apparently lol Alec freaking out and doing the drink had me dying, I loved it! Magnus was like...... okay 🤣🩶
Dun Dun Dun! So there certain protection rituals that every Shadowhunter baby goes through to protect them from demonic influences and since Jace was technically dead and then was brought back….. all I’m gonna say you’ll find out more in the oncoming episodes. The thing with Maryse is weird but I also kind of like it, she was never deruned in the books but this is also the first time you see her with her hair down literally, I think to show you a more “softer side” of her and seeing how all these former circle meme bees have literally come out of the woodwork that the clave originally forgave have turned their backs and tried going back to valentine, Hodge, Luke’s Sister, Malachi (guy from lake Lynn) it makes sense that they would go back and look into former circle members. As for Simon all will be revealed soon lol as will the reason why Raphael kept that girl captive….
Sooo have you warmed up to Maryse yet? A litte fact about Maryse, she never discriminated against Alec. It was Robert who had problems with it. Alec reminded Robert of how he (Robert) had treated his parabatai, Michael Wayland, after HE came out as gay. Robert had not been kind to him, and he saw Alec as a reflection of his mistakes. After a year of barely talking to each other, Robert apologized to Alec, and they spent the rest of Robert's life rebuilding their relationships. As for Maryse's deruning, she was never deruned in the books. Even after her divorce with Robert. He moved to Idris, and she remained head of the institute until, as I mentioned before, she retired and gave her position to Jace.
I've totally warmed up to maryse for sure after this episode. she can stay 🤣 ooooh that is such interesting information and so cool to see how they changed it for the show! 🩶
So now we like Maryse? Because I accepted her the moment she called Malec "my boys" and then she sealed the deal when she said to Magnus "thank you for loving my boy". I MEAN, and that little smirk from Alec. I was delighted with all the dinner scene. Then the show crushed my heart with the Raphael's storyline. It must be so hard watching a loved one grow old and starting to forget you. That happens with immortality and I cannot imagine that thing happening to Simon or Magnus.
Yup. That was the consequence of bringing him back to life. He became super susceptible to demonic influence/possession bc he was dead dead and got brought back. I don't know if this was a plotline in the books but it definitely wasn't one of my favourite plotlines in the show... Even though I absolutely LOVE the actress who plays Lilith. She did such an amazing job in this show... I just did not like the storyline for Jace, personally.
quite honestly, this show has given me the most intense trust issues any piece of media ever could, so I trust literally nothing and no one from here on out LMAO it really does just snowball downhill from here huh? 🤣
Fun Fact: Alberto Rosende (Simon) and Tessa Mossey (Heidi) are currently engaged!!
omg, that's adorable! I love that for them! 🩶
Yeah! They proposed to one another at the same time 🥺
Omg that makes it even cuter 🫢🥹
honestly maryse made me cry this episode with her character development
and the whole jace thing? yeah you just gotta find out as you watch 😭
I thought I was for sure going to cry when she rolled up saying 'my boys!' I was not expecting that even a little bit! 🩶

It absolutely makes sense on why they would re-investigate, although it is really sad, I'm finally starting to like Maryse! lol 🩶

WE 👏 LOVE 👏 CHARACTER 👏 ARCS 👏
say it louder for the people in the back! 🩶
I absolutely LOVE Season 3 Maryse. The character development is so well done and amazing. She's MVP of mom's in this show later on.
Maryse really has grown soooooo much from season 1, we love her! 🩶

I'm with you there, I was sold from that point on lol Alec was living, I was living, we all were living!
Raphael shattered my little heart 😭
The evolution of the relationship between Magnus and Maryse is 10/10 character development! Just wait for the finale. ;)
Omg I cannot wait- I’ll probably cry, but I’m so excited to see where everything goes and what’s going to happen 🫢🩶

Yes the owl is really Jace because Jonathan is in the box thing.
one might say I was living in delusion 🤣
