May I suggest that anyone new to Christianity read Romans first; it tells you how to be a Christian. Then read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John; which tell you the nature of Jesus. Then finish the New Testament except for Revelation. Then read the entire Old Testament and then read and study Revelation. I have been a Christian for 45 years and have found this helpful.

@Yes Really - Chapters 1-11 of the book of Romans are doctrine, and chapters 12-16 tell how to live life according to this doctrine.

I live in an apartment complex. It has trees and bushes everywhere. I sometimes go out side and just look in amazement. He did good. I love it.
I absolutely love your video. Your mindset and intimacy with Christ took me years to reach bc I was a Christian who was always trying to follow a checklist of how I should pray, how I should study, when, how long etc and for years I felt that I was never measuring up. Up to what!!? I am so thankful for the past 3 years that GOD has revealed himself to me and I have stop putting my love and devotion for Christ in a box. I am much older than you and have been a Christian longer you but as you have exhibited our GOD is no respecter of persons, or age. To GOD be to Glory for your genieune love for Christ and submitting yourself to Him and allowing Him to guide your walk. Thank you

Love your book, but I love even more is that you know how important it is to have a relationship with our heavenly Father. He loves use to pray ( talk ) to him. And he sees and knows our deep love for him. Keep seeking him with all your heart. Belive me he loves how we seek him and it makes his heart rejoice. I’ve never heard of this before but it’s inspiring! I especially love the nature section, I think that counts as natural theology (or at least a precursor to it).
This also gave me an idea for something I would add to the “acts” prayer method if I did this, something like a promise or commitment where you tell God and yourself what you’re going to do or what you have been doing that relates to what you’re asking. It doesn’t always make sense directly- like if you pray for a sick relative, you can’t promise to try to make them better because that’s not possible, but you can promise to try to make them more comfortable however you can. Or if you pray for a neighbor who can’t pay their rent, say what you’ll do to help that one neighbor and how you could try to influence city politics to prevent the rent from being raised, etc. That kind of thing fits well with the acronym “acts” and reminds us that God needs people to work through. Like deciding how you’re going to harness the inspiration that God sends you in return when you pray.
I love your comments on how much time we spend in the scriptures. The scriptures remind us how to live...we should be spending more time LIVING what the scriptures teach. I love your witness

I love your binder. I came across journaling Bibles and prayer journals. I am so excited because I love scrapbooking and this is perfect for me. When I get home from work I am so excited to work in my journals. I love God and I love how He directed me to this ceativity. God bless you.

Thank you for sharing. I am in the process of redoing/updating my war binder and I will definitely be adding the envelope for letters to God.
I just want to say that as I was watching this I really felt the spirt. I think I might start a war journal. I know I have gone to church since I was four but I have been really struggling lately with my faith. I have starting go to a different church since then and it has helped a lot. I hope u keep on this path and stay strong, it's a good path to be on.

The book of Romans or the Gospel of John are fantastic places to learn about Jesus and starting your faith journey with Him!

I'm glad you see it that way :) Despite how Jesus teaches us to be all-loving, I find that sometimes Christians can be very judgmental of how other Christians choose to pray to, worship, and develop a relationship with our God. I completely agree that as long as we believe his spirit is working in us and we are spending quality time, that is what matters, no matter what anyone else may perceive. This is such a beautiful binder, love al the art, it’s very inspiring with all the scripture, stunning.
I am much older than you and I have been struggling with my faith for a long time now. I have been actively working on trying to find my way back. I have been journaling in a composition notebook for a few weeks on and off about verses that I want to inspire me but just were not what I need at this time. I love the verse Matthew 6:6. It meant something to me when I heard you read it. I have struggled for so long over just where to begin, and this verse touched me. I don't know where to go next, but I now have my verse to remember and keep moving forward. Thank you.

At first I was confused about where to start but then I was introduced to Max Anders “30 Days to Understanding the Bible.” It is really easy to follow and he really does a good job at writing it in a new believers perspective. Then when I finished it, I bought a Concordance and a Bible Encyclopedia to help me as I read and studied the Bible.

He has reviled to me that throw my life he has been with me and has keeped me safe. My testimony is long. But I too make prayer journals thats how I saw your journal. Blessing😁

New subscriber and have been on my spiritual journey truly seeking a better relationship with the Lord for about 2 years but I still feel like a “new” Christian and I’m definitely ok with that! I am intrigued with the War binder and have been searching for the “right” video to introduce me to them. I’ve started to watch probably 10 and stopped seconds in because they didn’t resonate with me. I subscribed when I heard you say that if faith isn’t for you to check back on other videos and because you are still “new” in your journey!
