'Underworld' is in fact by Myuu.
Been an Irish man living in Ireland I can tell you this it might be all modern and High tech and on the cusp of the future but this land is old and the elemental spirits are still all around. U just need to stop and take a deep breath and listen ,connect and u will fell them. I can anyway ..
I have no doubts Graham
I smoke crack aswell
I know exactly what you mean. I've never been to Ireland (though I'd love to), but there are many spirits here, too, and I very much doubt that any land doesn't have any. 💚
Now now Graham. What have you been told before about telling lies? It's not clever or mysterious, and doesn't make you a more interesting person. It just tells people you're a bullshit artist doesn't it?
I'm fortunate enough to be a Paranormal investigator in this amazing country. We'll certainly never run outta locations here to investigate. They should have had Ducketts Grove in this video
Nothing like stories of castles, and ghosts of Ireland. The Irish have the gift of gab, and story telling, I could listen to the Irish brogue all day. Thank you.
You might not like my accent so much ( Cork)
@@larmoran4885 cork also
@@larmoran4885 Oh I'm sure I would.
The stories are indeed good.
The narrator doesn't have an Irish accent though.
@@WiccanRai Oh, that was quite clear, I'm sure no one thought that.
Can Christmas Eve get any better? Why yes it can when you see a new video from Curious World show up in your feed. Awseome work as ever. Nadolig Llawen.
It’s always a pleasant surprise when there is a new video of curious world
Excellent! I love this stuff . My family home was built in the 1800s and my father told me all about the people that were laid out in my bedroom on the ground floor ! I was a kid at the time , frightened the s*#t out of me but to him is was just a matter of fact. . So many ghost stories around the west of Ireland . Happy Christmas to all by the way .
Like another poster I reside in the Emerald Isle, well Northern Ireland to be precise. Always love ghost stories and theres a few associated with my home town. Merry Xmas to you all.
I would love to visit Ireland one day. Play quite a few Irish tunes when I do acoustic sets. Love the vibe of the music and the culture! It's a beautiful land. Merry Christmas to you as well!
Tell us!
@Joseph Jr McNamara let me guess? No hope dissident dick donk.
The North is not Emerald?

I love to hear stories like this in old castles and other places in Ireland
Oh sweet. A fresh batch of ghost stories in time for Christmas.

Theres a ghost story from my area around a man known as "half hanged mcnaughton". He was in love with a woman whose father forbid their relationship so he set up a fake stage robbery to kidnap her but accidentally shot her. He was sentenced to death by hanging but he threw himself from the gallows but was recaptured and hanged successfully and his ghost is said to still haunt his old home.
I think I read about that one.
That’s a disastrous ending for both of them, all due to her father really
@@user-bj3jn1sq7y yep i know things might have been twisted to make him a sort of "folk hero romantic" person but we'll never know
@@CuriousWorldProductions yeah my town has loads of ghosts stories. Apparently in the 40s in a house across from where i went to school there was a case of a supposed demonic possession of a child and a priest went in to exorcise it and he came out and all his clothes were torn but again we'll probably never knoe what really happened
@@padraigpearse1551 Where do you live if you don't mind me asking?
Merry Christmas from lisburn, Northern Ireland!
Superb! The quality of these videos just gets better and better. On a side note, I experienced the very same candle phenomena as mentioned in your Castle Ballygalley segment. I was a student, and my boyfriend lived in a haunted house in Maze Hill, Greenwich. The candles were the least of the hauntings, I can tell you!
Once again a very well made video. Thank you for the quality content. 😎👍
This has just made my Christmas with your vid!! Thank you Curious World and Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄⛄🥳
Great narrated tales from Ireland, delivered in the usual unmistakable style. Looking forward to 2021 and some more quality content. Thanks for helping us cope with a terrible 2020 😃👍
Brilliant as always.
Christmas greetings from
Rotorua, New Zealand.
A lot of the old houses and castles in Ireland, which are protected structures, have been destroyed by mysterious fires. These usually coincide with the purchase of the land they stand on by a developer and a planning application being put in for a houses and apartments.
Coming from Co. Antrim I know these stories well....... Merry Christmas 🎄🧑🎄🥃
Hi Linda. Im in Co Down. My girlfriend had her works Christmas dinner at Ballygally Castle a few years ago. She said she was glad she didnt see this video before she was there. I thought for a second he might have told the story of Buttoncap from Carrickfergus. I think everybody knows that one.
@@Roller_Ghoster I live just outside Carrickfergus so yes 🎄👍
Can you do a video 'Ghost stories of Wales ' There are two properties in Bargoed , near Caerphilly and Cardiff. Look up "The Ghost of Gladstone villa" it convinced a non believer and a skeptic. Now it would be interesting if you shared that.
Merry Christmas to all of you from right here in Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪 🍀 💚🎅🎄🎁😁🙏🍻
I love ghost stories.. Especially those from Ireland.. Much respect for Ireland the land of my ancestors.. 🇨🇮👧❤💚❤💚
Merry Christmas to you!
Ghost stories for Christmas Eve! Wonderful....have a great Christmas everyone!🧸
A remarkable sort of Xmas contribution....from the land that, ironically, gave us Halloween.
Excellent content ,and beautifully narrated without drama.
Brilliantly narrated and presented as usual. It was good to watch another presentation by you my friend, you truly are talented in this field. Thank you for this I look forward to future presentations.
My wife is gonna love this!!!
Merry Christmas to you Curious World. Thank you for the gift...yet another excellent episode.
TY CW didn't expect this today; been fighting w/ my washing machine half the day🎁⛄🎅🎄👍Merry Holiday
I am very impressed by your channel. In less than I week you've become my favorite channel to end the day with. Much appreciated!
Thanks, Donald. That's good to hear.
A nice collection of historical and modern ghost tales. Really enjoyed it, thanks.
I like hearing about other places! This is great thanks
"have I ever told you about the old country? The songs! Oh Jim, they'd melt your face. "Ohh I live in a shoe on Moore Street, I'm a prostitute from Newry" - Bernard Black
i may be an american but i love reading about ghost stories and legends from the emerald isle.
Ahhhhh, what a treat. Thank you!
I live 3 miles from Ballygally castle. The ghost room is given pride of place and left as it was hundreds of years ago.
Merry Christmas from Texas!

Your stories and narration are such a welcome change from the pandemic and politics. Thanks so much!
I was born in Ireland and i am still madly in love with the natural beauty of my country . Is it little wonder that we have fought tooth and nail across the centuries to stop ( or at least try to stop ), invaders in it .
Why did you leave 😢
I’m going to Ireland this summer and I CANNOT WAIT!!!
Excellent I hope you have some more for Christmas 22
fascinating. and you listed all your sources. a beautiful and interesting country as were the ghost stories. keep up the good work.
Thanks CW! I love Ireland and the UK🙏👻💜🇮🇪
Very entertaining and a very good narrator.
Great stories again thnx, Merry Christmas.
Nice to hear a couple of stories from Northern Ireland as well - I hadn't heard of these before! 😁
Loved this. Ireland ghost stories? I think so.
I was on holiday a few year's ago in Ireland and stayed in the Ballygally Hotel i never knew the history of the place before hand. After a few drinks i had to go to the WC and while there i heard the swish of a skirt go past the cubicle door it sounded silken , when i came out i asked at reception if the hotel was haunted and was told that the ladies toilet area was part of the old castle kitchen where i presume the lady of the house would walk about.
Great ghosts stories of Ireland. 😀 greetings from Canada
It’s getting (kinda) close to Halloween so I’m finding myself in the mood for some good ghost stories. I’m not even sure if I believe, but I did have one experience that I cannot explain.
My cousin passed away suddenly from a brain hemorrhage a year ago and we were extremely close. She was my best friend. When the program ‘Ghost Hunters’ was popular we used to watch together and one night made the promise that whomever was the first to pass on, if at all possible, had to give the other one a sign of some sort, never seriously believing either of our days would end so soon.
I got a new iPhone the week before and I still hadn’t gotten around to d/l all of my favorite apps, so I decided to hold on to my older phone and I’d keep them both plugged in and charging on my bedside table. The morning after she passed away I woke up and did my morning routine (coffee, breakfast, shower, etc..). After awhile I went to relax back in bed and to text some family and friends, but when I went back into my room my older phone was gone. My new phone was there, still plugged into the charger.
I looked everywhere. I tore the bedding and pillows off the bed, shook them out and remade the bed with clean linens. I looked in my jacket pockets and everywhere else I could think of, but nothing. I asked my husband and daughter if they had taken or seen it, but they hadn’t. So I resigned myself with the fact that it would eventually show up, and started texting my mom on my new phone.
A few minutes later my husband walked in and around to his side of the bed and pointed next to me and said, “oh, good, you found your phone.” I looked and right next to me on the bed I had just made sat my old iPhone.
I know this might sound like a chintzy story, but I still can’t explain how that damn phone got there. I like to think that maybe that was my cousin giving me her “sign” and letting me know that she’s okay.
Love you all. ♥️
The algorithm suggested your content. I'm a reader myself.
I like your style of reading. I'll be listening in.
We visited Ballygally Castle in 2004. Very interesting place. We also visited Dundrom Castle 4 times (3 times after dark), and had a lot of paranormal experiences there,
An Irish woman here In Co. Galway. Its June 2021 here, 12pm and the rain is pounding off my window I have a ghost stories myself, from a home I use to live in, it was over 100 years old. The fire place was the original and only when we finally moved did the owner tell me the haunting tale of the house. The fireplace had a stone wall to the celining, it took up an entire wall. He told me In the early 20th Century the fire place was used as an IRA hideout from the British who would go house to house.... and you know the rest. Well this house had been used as a safe house, and you could climb up above the original Stove there at the time, up to two people could squeezed into it, and climb up and to the side and they would hide out there, with no fire on obviously. And Some Did, Things made sense after that.....
👻 activity is the best,👻 stories are 👍,good vid👋
You should make a vid on england an then wales and scotland👌
Checking in to see if I've ever heard any of these stories growing up. Greetings from Donegal 🇮🇪
Can you tell me a ghost story then .
Just had a 2.9 magnitude earthquake here in So.Cal...We live a few miles away from the epicenter...Merry Christmas everyone....
I am addicted to this channel. Any plans for a podcast? It would be perfect.
I like the idea, and I have thought about it, but I don't have time to do both at the moment.
Love the music!!
Happy St.Patrick's days! 2022🥳💚🧚♀🐲🍀🏰🟢🟩
Belive or leave it thanks for the information
Ghost’s in Potato Head Land, are too inebriated to be able to stand upright long enough to scare anyone but the nearest bartender ! ☘️🍺🍺🍺🍺
Love this ❤️🇮🇪
Oh, huh. I've been at the Ferrycarrig tower and never knew there were stories about it being haunted. Canadian living in Dublin atm, but I miss Wexford! Looking forward to visiting some other counties once this second wave is under control, and hopefully not encountering too many spooks! This country is way more haunted than Canada.
The last storry was a curiasety but I like ghost storrys anyway .
Favorite past time of my now difunt husband,as a young man and some time as a married man, was to go to diferent graveyards looking at the graves of interesting people in Dublin, or whatever we leave.
We spendthe New Year of 91 in Donegal, looking for the grave of Arnol Bax.
I'm a wanna-be Irish person. I tend to love anything related to Ireland, including this.
Wonderful
The 1st story sounds like it had a Banshee in it.
There’s loads of ghost stories in Liverpool
Ghost story from Wexford I would suggest Loftus Hall Ireland's most haunted mansion.
I love the Irish 💕😋
I'm in Tipperary Ireland 🇮🇪🇮🇪 been to several haunted places I'm with a paranormal team
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I I'm from 424 coast rd gelnarm not far from cusendall 😁
The second story sounds very M.R. James-esque.
Imagine being saddened by your employer's demise... 🤦♀️
Does anyone know of any hauntings in County Clare or more specifically, Bunratty Castle? My ancestors occupied it for a time in the 1600's. Just curious in Iowa, USA
no haunted houses only haunted people
👻👻👻👍
The Dundee Tully! Eh'm fae Dundee 😀
Nothing about the lady in the lake in Waterford
Or loftus hall in Wexford

Very good narration, but please, no more spiders.😲😟😬.
Funny how the ad showed before the vid was Genshin Impact over the hill ghost! Ahahahahahahahahah

has anyone ever moved out of a house overnight cos of a ghost????
this is sort of a personal experience i had a few years ago whist in attendance at a fatal house fire in hackney,london..myself & one other firefighter were almost finished damping down a couple of glowing timbers with a hose reel, when i deffently saw a fast moving black shadow moving from right to left..it caught myself & another fire fighter off guard that we ran out of the building faster than we arrived btw we were the only crew in that building at the time..but in the near 20 years firefighting myself & a few other firefighters have had strange or weird experiences that we cannot put a logical explanation to
