When I was in London for 3 months back in 2019 I often went to the thrift stores and bought many cds. I have a storage space filled with boxes of CDs.😮 Impossible to say which is my favorite but I love Fuzzy Logic by Super Furry Animals.
Good spread of styles and genres…..better still she likes Free and Led Zeppelin. Nice to see younger people appreciating the older bands.

Im finding myself in tune with all CD collectors. Its a strange kind of animal. I have maybe more than 6,000 now, not into LPs. Also, my listening style covers a vaste area, from, rock, to fusion, jazz and all sorts of musical ventures. Do you keep a database? I use MS Access for mine. Cool video. Hugs! 💛

@@6rungy.ch1ck It is. Soometimes i see stuff for sale online, and im not sure if i already have it. The database is easy alphabetical access to open. Needs a backup of course! Good if you ever get burgled, you can give to police. Otherwise, how do you prove you own it? Take a photo yearly also. I also had flatmates stealing items, but did not notice obviously, not for 6 months later.
Definitely a mid-90s to early 2K vibe, which I'm totally good with 🙂 But yeah also an array of different styles, including boy bands 🤮🤣

Silverchair are a criminally underrated band.
Meh. Overly preachy and violent for their first two albums. The third album was great, and everything after that was crap. I lost all respect for them when diarama came out and the bass said "we know we'll lose fans for this, but that's alright. We'll make new fans". They did, and they did. I wouldn't have cared if they weren't so flippant to their old fans. Why make a comment like that. It just said to me "thanks for your money and support for 10 years, now fuck off."

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a hater or anything, quite the opposite, but i don't like mainstream music. Anyway you have a decent selection in your collection, even if i don't listen to 90 percent of it :)

@@renog7038I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. And no, those groups are mainstream, but they are ok and talented. I simply wanted to write, "non-aggressively and non-passively", that sometimes it's nice to see a cd collection where it's not just pop shit without talent. Of course, there are also talents among pop music (Lorde, Lana Del Rey, M. Jackson). That's all I wanted to say. Thanks and have a nice day!

Whenever i hear someone say "I like everything" what i hear is "I have no taste in music at all". But this one is slightly different. This is the type of oerson who says they like everything, despite the evidence to the contrary, and then go on to say they do in fact have a strong preference. I think people want to feel unique and quirky when they're just basic.

I'm 60 and own pretty much everything but Rap or Grunge. Can't stomach either; too much bragging in one, too much complaining in the other.
My library is extensive and I'll spend months "in a mood" listening to one style or artist before opting for another. Today it's a certain portion of Madonna's work. Last month it was full-on Gary Numan, especially the Numa era. Next month it might be Diana Krall (got 'em all) or Iron Maiden (got 'em all) or Italian Jazz (got a lot).
Got me some Fleetwood Mac, some BeeGees and some Johnny Cash. Love Bachman-Turner Overdrive and DEVO (got a lot of each).
And everybody should have some 70's funk in their life! It's good for you, like water and air. :)

Faves? Probably Yello, their production is insane. And they fit into no real niche, they are a niche unto themselves.
