This video and song is basically showing the messed up nature of instability mixed the worry of betrayal or manipulation, To be silver tongued is to be manipulative and persuasive and this video definitely describes it as such; All the people with Blue sweaters have what seems to be representative of these Silver Tongued individuals, (Made obvious by their actions and silver coloring on their lips), As they speak on the couch they basically spread gossip to one another and try to fight for the lead singer after his friendships with his bandmates are ended. The only one there to comfort is him is Tilian-- Represented as a friend, wearing the opposite of the others-- While the Manipulative people wear blue sweaters and red pant's the only 'friend' he has (Tilian)Wears a Red sweater and blue pants, his lyrics supposed to be supportive to the somewhat pessimistic but hopeful lyrics to the lead.
I see people bitching about ITM being too poppy, but i love the progression this band has taken over the years. They always get better and do what they love. Keep it up guys
