Barney Miller actually it’s more about what he didn’t do. Ali’s style was so unorthodox that most trainers would step in and try and change his style. But, Dundee believed so much in Ali that he just encouraged him and did very little coaching. The results speak for itself.
@@classicsurvivor You are correct. Angelo was a perfect fit for Ali. Ali was self-motivated and knew what to do. Angelo provided gentle guidance early on, but Ali just needed people around him he could count on. Angelo was also a good cutman.

Nope. Only 2 of Ali's corner people outlived him. That's Bro Minister Abdul Rahman Muhammad (formerly known as Captain Sam), and Ali's brother, also named Rahman. Ali's brother is the only one left.
