@gillian828 he's my english teacher. he's a really great guy :) he tells us stories from when he was famous and tells us about origins of his songs, talks about his sons, Luke and Brody, and he's rather funny. he often pulls out his guitar and sings when we don't have anything to do. he even sings songs he decided not to publish
Wow... what a treat. This was and is one of my favorite songs. Much respect to him for sharing his talent by teaching. Thanks for posting this. I really like acoustic performances that reveal a natural ability beyond the studio mixes. This guy is a real musician.
Ahh, thanks for posting this! It's nice to see John performing solo with an acoustic guitar (that's always how his songs seem to sound the best). I hope you got to talk to him a bit - he's a really nice guy, family man, teacher, etc.
I love this guy. Love his music. He's one of those underrated musicians, while those as Gaga, Britney and Bieber take all the fame. (no offence, even I like some of their songs, I'm just trying to say that this guy here, Mr.Hampson deserves more, should be known and appreciated much more than this..). Btw, I wish he was my English teacher! Wonder how it was to sit in his class. I actually love literature.. But I'd probably be humming his songs all the time :))
It kind of is the original as this teacher, John Hampson, used to be the lead singer of Nine Days and became a high school teacher later on ;) the og music video is actually full of comments of his students lol
I heard of a band (destory the machine I think) that whent to harvard and now play hardcore rock(or something like that). Idk it's always funny when people in bands are potrayed in diffrent light.
high school came early this 2024... inspirational.
