Payday 2 Challenge runs will incorporate fun and challenging limitations to the game as I play through the storyline with a strict ruleset for competition. @@garten7751 Main problem is that Cloakers do not kick last alive player or if you play solo, so it is very easy when all bots go to jail.

@Speed McWeed i'm not sure how much hp do snipers have and what headdshot modifier they gain, i played a long time ago

yeah even if you use the saw to kill enemies as long as you've got 2 ammo bags you have plenty for all the lockboxes

Curious why you allowed jokers that do shoot bullets, but banned turrets and AI?
While people are bringing up flamethrowers, Grenade launchers and bows I understand why you'd ban them despite not firing bullets as it would defeat the point of the challenge and make it trivial.
Truly, it was for the sake of my sanity. I started with Jokers banned, but after looking into Panic Room ect. I realised it was a seriously nightmarish limitation.
Also unless you joker a revolver cop their weaponry hits like a peashooter
@@TheKknowley I understand mate, but it doesn't really fit the challenge IMO. I think maybe it would've been more fitting to do this without modern guns and weaponry, aka learning to use the bows to deal with snipers. But to each their own!

The challenge is "not shooting", if you used a bow you would shoot arrows, so yeah
At 17:15 you didn't have to restart. You can get on top from the side. There's a part of the bin that sticks out which you can jump on. Applies to all bins in the game.
The enemy throwing you out of a window is as dramatic as wolf killing a dozer with a drill
Don't forget Big Oil was a pro job only heist that is why it was really scary. BTW if the car fully breaks down in meltdown you can fix it.
The reason he avoided it is because depending on WHERE it broke down would be a guaranteed death...

As someone who has never spent a dime on games, including the dreaded gacha, I still caved into buying the ultimate edition, only to die inside when more DLCs came out.
I mean DLC's don't really matter anymore aside from the new heists. the ultimate edition already provides you with a ton of content and useful mods and weapons. the new DLC's don't really have useful weapons or mods and are mostly for the heists and cosmetic stuff. I still haven't bought any DLC except the ultimate edition if you count it and I don't have any intentions of buying the DLC
the new heists that don't come with ultimate edition are worth it if you ask me.
If you've done anything other than play on normal difficulty with skills like hostage taker and Muscle perk deck then you'll have made it hard for yourself for no reason

I dunno if it's a thing on *this specific* dumpster though. It feels weirdly inconsistent depending on the heist

So many vids like this for diff games, always kind of wanted to see a parody version though.. like "Can you beat (game) with unlimited ammo, god mode, all skills maxed, best upgraded gear, and teammates?" It would be pointless but funny

What a journey, i never thought i'd want to watch the whole video. What made me continue watching, was your persistence and ways you learned from your mistakes and improved your tactics.
14:38 Yeah, this is a feature(?) on GO Bank, apparently. Sometimes, civs just...run away and disappear off the map. I have no idea why that is, why they programmed that into the game, but AFAIK that only happens on GO Bank. There doesn't seem to be a reason for it, I guess they wanted, for shit and giggles, for that heist to be an ultimate "RNG, take the wheel" experience. I think this is still, after all theses years, the heist with most variations possible.
To be fair, there are a lot of less than 5% chances of making a heist significantly harder/easier that were made on purpose.

I'd like to see these runs continue after failure (just set it to very hard and let the AI do it or something) with a mitten squad style "I did not complete..." because otherwise we'll hardly ever see White House and we'll see loads of the early game.
For the entire panic room part I was thinking just use the ace of spades

I wasnt expecting to be this hard lol, all the waiting and RNG dependency, also learned somethings too, like the "Murkwater" heist, I also didnt know there was a sight with the location of the tool.

Well, technically, you can pass panic room without breaking rules. You mentioned a skill that allows you to get throwables from ammo boxes. Why not use a sentry to waste 30% of ammo, pick boxes and throwables and then remove sentry? Also you could use cards, but I`m not sure if they 1 hit snipers.
you can't pick up ammo boxes with the saw, he'd need to use an actual gun. Which would mean the risk of getting tased and firing a bullet. Although it might be possible to have the saw as another weapon in order to swap to it and stop the risk of a taser. Something to consider ig

3:58, don't worry, I sadly know a guy who had to retry the stealth and the loud tutorial heists several times, I don't know how he managed to mess up that bad.
I think I would have probably opted for the playing cards for stealth, since you get 21 of those and as long as you're in stealth any damage will instakill guards, but honestly, other than that, I'm pretty impressed overall with how that went. Good video!

To be fair, playing basically TF2 Medieval mode, where every modern weapon, like grenades, C4, guns and any electronic device (including sentries) aren't allowed, but weapons like bows and swords are allowed would also be fun. But I mean, if he did it, it would just be redundant to this challenge, since it's not that much of a difference.

I always put on these kinds of videos for sleep aid. His voice is very smooth and gentle with chill background music and long length of the video.
I actually used the saw one time on watch dogs day one once because I had forgotten to switch back to my regular set up
Also I always seem to get ambushed on day 2 for some reason

Armored Stoic is a meme build? I cleared DSOD with that setup. Having that much health, Hostage Taker Aced, two jokers, bots with the correct abilites were a godsend. Maybe Overkill nerfed it, but as far as I know, it was pretty strong, borderline OP.
You're not wrong! I'm specifically talking about Stoic 2/9 where you have armour as well as health. It's also a viable setup, but the ictv stoic you're likely talking about is more powerful.

Have you considered doing what I see in some other challenges for other games, but skipping the levels that you think are impossible/improbable? That way we can see about other levels, and theoretically continue on. Maybe a part 2?
The first time I did big oil day 2 we had to try almost all of the fusion core things cause we didn't know how to find the right one, by the end I was just hiding behind the plane hoping a dozer didn't come to fuck me up cause I was playing stoic as a level 30-50 noob, so I never wanna do that heist again
I have my perfect melee build for few years now and i use it very often. Its a very nice playstyle.
Don't know if it would've helped in Transport: Train, but you can climb ontop of trash bins from the sides. Those sides count as a ledge to jump on. You might have been able to get on top and try to pick the bag up from there.
Learned that trash bin bit from a bad Jewelery Store RNG and both sides being gated. But I was able to jump over the gates via the trash bins.
I feel like having AI to revive you would've been pretty fair. Perhaps there's a mod that prevents them from shooting or something.

On boiling point if theres someone outside the compound when you pick up the server it delays the sniper spawns. It's been like that for a long time, but I don't know why it works.

For Stealthing the diamond, try using the snipping tool. Screenshot the pattern and have it on your phone or a second screen. It's how I did it as my first ever Stealth back when learning the game

I recognise Tutorial is impossible so it would be minimum kills, what's the lowest possible amount?

Setting cars on fire with a saw makes more sense then shooting it, shooting it irl would do nothing, but a saw creates sparks to ignite the flames
Maybe if the Jerry can is metal and you shoot it maybe it will make sparks too

if you can't use normal Ai companions, co-opted Ai companions should be banned for the same reason.
As an aside: seeing the recommendations of a primary + secondary flame thrower is also really good, alongside the suggestion of bows.

That drive in Meltdown had me skip heartbeats for a minute straight
i just realized on a couple of heists where u can use the saw, u did not use the saw trick, by revving the silent saw in the air, u actually gain a few seconds of silent sawing, which can make it insane for stealth on opening those doors and cages, just something for u to take note in stealth in the future :)

Nice work! I learned much from this and I think you are a throwing knife expert now. But I'm curious, how did you end up behind the lasers in Golden Grin Casino when a pager needed answering? How did the guard die? Did you kill him beforehand?
Try full or loud stealth! :D (In the ones with stealth option)
True/full stealth: No hostages. No kills (kill only if necessary. Emergencys do NOT count).
Medium stealth: You may take some hostages and kill cops (It's our normal stealth).
Loud stealth: Everyone is a hostage. Literally everyone. You gotta start the mission like it is loud. Infinite ECMs or speedrunning the level using ECMs is not allowed.
All the loot has to be taken in any of the above.
