Drummer be smashing the shit outta every single song without having unnecesary toms or cymbals, keeping it basic and fantastic. Pocket grooves, great fills, brutal breaks, no bullshit like many other metal drummers nowadays. Respect.
Wow.....they're smiling! They look like they have such a great time doing what they do. I have so much respect for bands that run around the stage and do all this crazy shit. So often I feel like heavy music takes itself far too seriously and you have a bunch of sad djenty bois standing still on stage. These dudes are straight CHESSIN through the entire set. Mad respect for this energy!
Amen! Parkway Drive feels the same way... anytime Winston walks out on stage you can visibly see how excited he is to be doing what he loves. Dare I say, it’s almost heartwarming.
The rawness, the quality, the energy. Only comparable to 1999ish Slipknot and few metal core bands at the peak (early and mid 2000s). The fear in the eyes of the people backstage waiting to play next after this performance says everything you need to know.
The brutality of the assault is beyond one could imagine. Every single beat, rhythm, tempo, run, jump, twist & somersault verifying the magnificent brutality of their musicality talents and hugely amazed & dazzled the electrifying audiences! Great performance of the millennium....
So upset to see Ryo go but I'm gonna support him wherever he goes. And always gonna support Crystal Lake bc these dudes are BEYOND talented and their music has gotten me through so much.
This is everything to me. Watching my favorite band preform live (even just on a screen) directly touches my soul. These guys have so much fucking passion it seeps into my every fucking atom.
let’s go. this is sick. their live presence is phenomenal. the lead singer commands the crowd and really gets in there that was dope. the drummer is what drew me to this band. he keeps everything within the song and doesn’t need a huge. that set up does remind me of justin foley from killswitch engage. awesome set!
this is just, insane...gaku fucking crushing that drumset, ryo screaming like a fucking beast, YD,shinya and mitsuru destroying those strings. Best pro shoot crystal lake live.
I’ve Never seen a band play with this much awesome energy! What a live show! Wish I was there! These guys know what they are doing! And look like they are having the best time doing it! Wow!!!
I rarely have so many mixed feelings on the verge of tears, but this is definitely one of them, 11:00 this drummer loves what he does and it is for this kind of thing that I love metal Thanks Brutal Assault.
The energy of this band is just unbelievable! I'm not a big fan of modern metal, but after watch this video, I NEED TO GO TO A GIG! Congratulations for the great energy!
Well, I'm a musician myself. Sometimes it does make sense putting lead guitars on the backing tracks. Like for better dynamics or less processor power because of the complexe effect chain.
If you have to use a backing track to play live why are you even playing?? I understand if your using a backing track for an instrument that's not there,
@@Allthingsdirtbike Somestimes lead guitars don't cut in the live mix properly, especially if the band don't have an own audio engineer who knows all you songs. I have seen a lot of metalcore band doing it, even though the lead guitars aren't hard to play at all, they are sometimes way easier to play than the rhythm guitars.
Honestly, pretty much 75% of the Euro and American metalcore bands can just quit. These dudes are literally raising the bar too far for any other bands to get anywhere close to this kind of talent.
YES! aaaand no, because that's why bands from EU and USA needs to take them under their arms and bring them their audience so crystal lake can get more recognition AND the best of times. :)
@@SMASHLIVE I agree, I was half-joking when I commented this. I definitely would love to see these guys on tour with Every Time I Die, Parkway Drive or like even Suicide Silence or The Acacia Strain. Just some real bands with real history within heavy music.
I'm so worried about this band's future. Because I don't have the confidence that the guy from The Last Ten Seconds of Life will be able to match this kind of energy and performance that Ryo has. It's damn near unmatched.
When i was high school,i knew parkway drive, they will really proud seeing this japan band. Same power, same energy,in one genre... i'm prefer death metal but i really miss metalcore vibes like this 2000's era. Just missing.

Agreed, he's just having so much fun out there, everyone is if you think of it. I wish I could bask in that energy too.

My guy with the timestamps
I love how the drummer play like there is no tomorrow
Because there is no tomorrow.
Tomorrow her friend take it back at home, only one day play hard😢
Yes, that's really truth!
If you watch close enough, in 2 of their clips he's broken his kit 😂😂😂🤙🏻
Discovered this band that sunny beautiful day at Brutal Assault. What a great day that was.
That drummer is insane 🔥

the thing is that when you are good enough to write such kind of energetic songs, it's bound to make you smile on stage

I'm happy that Crystal Lake is a big name in Metalcore now! Truly the recognition they deserve!
Excellent mix
Bass tone is NASTY FAT
VOCALS ON POINT
I Love how the drummer has the most simple kit setup but it sounds huge
This is what music is about, you can see the joy overflow in the musicians and the listeners ❤️

Not only is their music badass and their live performance is killer, they also look like they’re having a blast! This looks like so much fun!

2019 rindu banget suasana konser kaya gini, semoga pandemi cepet berakhir dan konser² kaya begini kembali berkibar
😥
this drummer is proof that you don't need a 60 piece drum kit to sound badass
and truth
But its better to have
Also proof that you dont need a china to make breakdowns heavy af 😆
Zzzz...decent. just noise
@@faridgaming3083 yes..like you... Just noise and no video of you playing an awesome drum..
Gaku Taura is a god tier drummer.
I wonder what will you consider for George Kollias 😉

I love it how all the band members from another bands watching this behind the stage are like ”Fuck - we’re screwed”
Damn great band! Totally Brutal Assault!! A ❤️ from Phillipines!
That drummer is insane
They are crazy good live, but they've also been around for 18 years now. They deserve more recognition
Guys, I just hope this year we all meet in Josefov fortress again for this epic festival, fingers crossed...
Their drummer is insane. His playing is very impressive. And Their Bassist wear Terrorizer's shirt !! GREAT

The energy they give off is intoxicating! Never really listened to them. Heard of them but never checked them out till now.
Vogg doing silly faces from the left side of the stage on the last song made this even better
One of my favorite bands!!!
Please come to Denver, Co.
You'd make my life complete!! 😍
Amazing energy
I was doing my homework, and I don't know how I ended up here, what a beautiful discovery
One of the best breakdowns ever
Incredible band! Your energy level in the gig is the best in the world! Qudos from Korea!

please release the full show - this performance is so sick and awesome. miss live shows :(
