- Easy and fun DIY where you can see how to make cactus plants from stones. For this project you will need some stones, rocks or pebbles, some paint and many imagination :) This stone cactus are very easy and decorative. This rock, pebble cactus you can make as a gift for someone you like. This rock cactus can be perfect gift for your mother, sister, friend or just as a decoration in your room or on the porch. pricey the jar but the paper flower I would arrange it differently, I would reduce it and attach it so that it doesn't seem to be leaning on it. Paper and stone are a truly unusual combination. I really appreciated the fantasy in the painting of the individual pieces.

Is there a way to get the "cactus" stones to stick into the pot permanently,short of using concrete? I need to transport them for a craft fair.
Carole. Kratzkd I guess you can make some concreete, put the stones and let i diy fot a day or two. Then put some decorative stones on concreete to hide it. I think it could work :) Or you can take all the peaces, stones and pots and put it all together at the fair, it doesn't take much time to put them together :)

Una pregunta, ¿que tipo de pintura es, con la cual pintas las piedras?
I used tempera paint colors like this ( www.gataric.net/EU_en/tempera-colors/486-tempera-paint-colors-101-12ml ) , but you can use any other colors that will stick to the stone like acrylic paints.
Beautiful! Do you use acrylic paint to paint the rocks? I just bought some acrylic paint today to begin to paint some rocks but I also wanted to use a paint pen i also bought, which I noticed is oil-based. Do you think I can use oil based paint pen on rocks painted with acrylic paint? Thanks.
I used tempera paint here, but I'm pretty sure you can use acrylic paint too. Try it on one rock so you will find out can you use oil-based pen :) I'm happy that you like this video :) And this cactus are relay cute and fun to do :) Enjoy making your cactus :)

Nowhere special. I put it on the paper and wait till they dry.

What kind of glue did you use?
I'm not sure about the name but it was some super strong and super fast glue :) You can buy it in a very small tubes ...

Super. Nadam se da će te veseliti kao mene moji. Stoje od kad sam ih napravila (a to je već više od 2 godine) vani na prozoru i još uvijek odlično izgledaju. Jedino su cvjetići od krep papira izbljedili pa ih moram zamjeniti novima :) Pozdrav!

Would you mind sharing the type paint you use? I’ve been using bottled acrylic paint
and sometimes I have to put on two or three coats before I get
a good coverage. I noticed you use some type paint in a tube
and the first coat gives great coverage. I would appreciate it if you
could share that with me.

Hi Sherry! I don't know where are you from. I'm from Croatia (Europe) and I used tempera paint. It is very common here and you can buy tempera paint everywhere. I don't know can you buy tempera paint in your country. If you can that is what I used ;)

And yes, tempera cover better than acrylic paint - I think so too :)
