Our nephew and his wife just found out their third child they are expecting in August has Downs. Little Indiana gives me such hope for their little girl. What a beautiful child Indy is. Happy Birthday Sweet Indy!! Tears.

Downs is a blessing, yes, there are legitimate fears and concerns but that’s normal with parenting!
We have Downs in our family and over the years we’ve spent time with other families who are also given the joy of having someone they love be born with Downs, I’ve never met a single person who felt anything but truly truly honored to have a child like this.
There are things to worry about, health issues, physical struggles, and the biggest: if and when I’m gone, who will be this child’s advocate?
However…community finds you, and these children bring so much LOVE to the table you’ll find, that even in the darkest of hours there are beams of light poking through.
I don’t believe when people say the lord gives us what we can handle as if these kids are a burden :)
It’s hard to find words here in a RUclips comment thread, but they make life easier.
Simplifying things, streamlining. Sorting out what matters and what doesn’t is a GIFT.
Being present in the moment is a gift.
I wish your family nothing but the best that comes from this wonderful birth!
I hope y’all have many years of family time to spend together getting to know this child who’s heading here!
There are different types of “down syndrome” Indy is lucky in that she has a large loving family and that they have the resources to help her reach her full potential.

This is what the world needs, more people like you sharing nothing but love, and devotion of family. You are one wealthy man who has known pure love of such magnitude which is so overwhelming in every video that I've seen with you and Joey, and then such a blessing from God, comes Indiana! She is such a blessing to all that have the opportunity to be with her, and even people such as myself that just view from afar. I love her excitement, and her eyes just sparkle with wonder...just priceless to behold.... I believe that to measure a man's wealth, you need to look at his priorities, and if it's love of God, and then love of family, and it's clear that you have that supremely covered, you are a wealthy man indeed. Thank you for being such a devoted Papa! Your life's story is so riveting, so profound, and your strengths are monumental! I only hope that one day you write a book that can be used as a training tool for young men everywhere, to model themselves after.
