Why are all the headlights blacked out? Is it like a rule or are they just plastic replacements to save weight?

it's to keep the glass intact and not all over the road in case they crash. or that's what it was in the old days

@@crabnix ya, i'm sure they are just plastic covers now, no lights at all. It used to be rules required the lights for the "production" or "stock" classes in racing
