if you are a Indian tax resident, then the interest earned from an offshore bank account will be part of your taxable income in India, even if the money didn't come from your Indian bank account. There is no UK tax for you if you are not a UK tax resident.

It is done entirely online and you only need provide your ID and address proof and do a video verification. 2. Yes you can make international and domestic UK transfer to any bank account. 3. Currently they are on the CHAPS system which may take a day if you miss the cut off time but they are moving to the Faster Payments system, which is instant domestic UK transfer.
For UK to UK bank transfer, if it is done before the cut off time (before 3:00 pm UK time on a Business Day), it can be received on the same day (within 2-3 hours).
you can open the bank account even if you are not in the UK, so it doesn't matter what UK visa that you have. you don't need a UK visa to open the UK bank account.
Hey, I use wise app for transferring pound to rupees. You can also use the same app for transferring rupees to pound. There are so money transfer abroad app are available like Remitly, Revoult. Use whichever you like.
