  • Mackerel, although not often consumed raw, is very popular among Koreans fried, grilled, or braised in soy sauce seasoning. In this video, we show how mackerel is gutted and salted the traditional Korean way. Although this video was filmed in Masan, Korea, the Andong region in the northern Gyeongsang province is also well known for its salted mackerel 'Andong Gan Godeungeo.'
