- On May 12, 2020, Joyce Lin was piloting an MAF aircraft that descended into Lake Sentani. She was the only person on board and did not survive. Joyce was a light reflecting Jesus, and she will be deeply missed. While we mourn the loss of our dear friend and colleague, we celebrate her life and the fact that she is now with her Savior. We may not understand it now, why God called her to Papua to be missionary pilot, but then she also died there. We may not undrerstand it, but we take confort in knowing that God's plans are always good, and that His plans never fail. Thank you for your service Joyce, you RIP now.

My dad works for MAF and so does my mum i never got to meat Joyce but i can imagine that she was an amazing person

MIT graduate, a pilot carrying God's servants and logistics to serve in the interior of Papua, whose plane crashed recently. She had a clear view of what was most important in this mortal life. What is most important above all is what endures for eternity.
This noble woman has kept eternal treasures in Heaven and is now with her Father in Heaven waiting for the day when she will enjoy eternal life with God and all the crowns of Heaven that have been prepared for her.
God has been glorified through your life, even your death, O, Warrior of God👏👏👏
