I love this song and Amira was fantastic even with a substandard sound system. Would love to see Amira perform this song on the big stage. It would be earth shattering!
With Amira's fabulous voice more attention needs to be paid to acoustics and the sound system....for those familiar with her voice the substandard equipment and venue are a disappointment.
Amira said that everyone should be able to hear music, not just those who can afford tickets to big stage shows and her voice is a gift from god and she sings in all venues to share that gift. True to her beliefs she has just completed a trip to the Netherlands and Norway, where she sang at a private function, in elderly homes, in smaller venues, and at some church services. She has a show in South Africa in May and just announced is that she will be participating in a large stage show of top South African performers also in South Africa in the summer.. So there may some very professional videos from her this year.
Yeah, there is no mixing. Poor mic straight to poor quality speaker. The poor qua.ity is caused by that not acoustics of the hall. LET one was unplugged with no speaker amp etc. With her type of voice even good audio systems need exce,excellent mics to not fuzz out on her top end notes.
By continuing you are prolonging my agony. At least you are honest enough to recognize and speak to the poor quality. The whole world knows this girl is brilliant, genius, spectacular, but this video you are commenting on certainly does nothing for her reputation. The piano is nothing to wow about, either. At least you two could bow out gracefully. Why is her manager allowing this??
If she'd thrown a strop and refuel to perform she would have been accused of being a big diva. Amira is not like that. She will always do her best, and trust the fans to appreciate what she does.
Amira chooses where, when and for whom she will sing. She has a strong religious faith and has said recently that she sings for everyone and not just for those who can afford tickets for big concerts. She has always said that her voice is a gift from God to share and bring joy into people's lives. So if there are some not so great sound recordings, there are far more professional recordings of her performances in bigger concerts or songs she recorded herself.. I think for her age she is one of only a few singers who have such a large stage professionally recorded presence on RUclips so if she chooses to share more than that it is a bonus for fans.. also reminds us that life is not all glam and glitter... and it's not all about money, but also about creating good moments we share as people together. She's a very balanced person as to how she wants to spend her life and how she wants to use her talent.
Just a small point: Amira does not have a manager in the sense you appear to expect - she is her own manager. Her previous manager was Mike Fuller, who introduced her to Coleske Artists, and as far as I know, that connection ended in 2020 when Covid stopped everything. Later in 2020, she made a "streaming concert" with Dr. Charl du Plessis (the South African agent for Steinway), and she commented in an interview with him that "The music business has more sharks than the ocean". She is having a "gap year" between high school and university, and she needs to conserve her money to cover her living costs, not to invest in a manager at this point. If you are imagining that her ambition is to become a "Diva", you are mistaken. The sort of performance you visualise takes about a year's lead time to organise, and costs a lot of money. She was singing here by invitation, in Norway; it was not any kind of professional setup. She withdrew this video because people complained about the audio setup.
