Arranged and recorded in an hour, January 28, 2021, back when Auggie still wore diapers.
I intended to make a presentable recording during his nap time, but he had other plans. I prefer having this little memento. :)

I would not have guessed
some sober ‘professional’
could be stopped like this
but you caught me
-with my son, full of love
& lunch & trust,
just falling to sleep in the backseat
-when the poetry,
especially: your Anything,
coaxed tears like no music
in years

i lost my baby at almost five months pregnant last year and have had a really hard time watching anything with children or being around children since-- which is a problem because i am a music teacher for kids.
i just wanted to say this video did make me cry, but i really needed to cry in this way. idk if that makes sense. i think this is the first video with a child in it ive been able to sit through without panicking.
thank you for sharing this extremely tender moment. i do a cover of this song too sometimes. funnily enough, its been helping me cope with my grief over losing my baby. subscribed ❤‍🩹
